Vacation rentals in Praia dos Salgados

Likely the best location in Algarve if you are looking for a quiet stay. Apartment is nice, clean, well located, nice balcony, Kitchen is well equipped. We were expecting something upscale and trendy but it was a bit dated, however it is still very nice and very much above average. We could easily have spent 2-3 weeks here ! Armacao de Pera is often an overlooked beach city for a stay. It is quiet VERY quiet (except dog barking), everything closes around 10PM. But you still can get ice cream and a cold beer at Gelatos upto mid-night. Then if you need wild animation Arbufeira and Portimao are within 15 min ride. (Uber cost only 12-15 euro to get backhome). Then the best part is the beach : right in front of the apartment. It is the best soft sand beach in the area and its temperature is above the coast's average. We LOVED this place.

From first booking we had excellent communication with the owners. We decided to get the pool heated and use there transfer service. The pool was a good temperature on arrival and the transfer was excellent service. We were greeted at the villa by Pavel (Villa manager), he was very friendly, he showed us the working of the villa and what the area had to offer locally. We did have an issue with the A/C, we made contact with Pavel and the issue was sorted within a few hours (great service). Everything that was advertised on the listing page described the villa exactly. I would highly recommend staying here and we look forward to a return holiday at the villa.

Casa de Bandeira is one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed at. Didn't really know what to expect from Albufeira and it is a bit "lively" with bars etc. in town but this place is a complete oasis. Totally near enough for an easy walk to varied bars and restaurants in five minutes, but very quiet once inside. I'm sure it's easy enough to drive or Uber to supermarkets but there is a Spar a five minute walk away which is small but generally well stocked for convenience. The villa is just beautiful, spotless on arrival and cleaned every other day. Comfortable beds, nice linen and towels. Bathrobes and slippers provided. It is really spacious and you definitely do not feel on top of each other. The absolute piece de resistance though is the rooftop. Equipped with a small fridge, shower and toilet, it is an amazing place to spend the day and/or evening. Originally we decided not to heat the pool (May) but once we decided to do so, we spent hours in there. Thank you so much, we will be back!

We have just returned from a lovely week stay at Michel’s property. Check in and instructions were really clear, Michel met us at the property to show us around and how to use everything. Very friendly and informative. The villa was spacious and homely, we travelled with 3 boys under 9. We had the pool heated at extra cost which was worth it as the temperature can be hit and miss in April. Kids loved the pool, it was clean and perfect size. There was building work going on around the villa, Michel was quick to respond when we brought this up and resolve the issue for us. The beach is walkable and beautiful, It was clean and perfect for children. The villa was clean, with both pool and showering towels provided which was great. The villa was exactly as described and is a great property for families or couples to have a relaxing stay. There were some areas of the villa that have started to look tired/ worn but doesn’t effect use. We will definitely be back, thank you!

Everything was perfect. Even when I needed help, Mr. Tomas and Holidu were always available. A very comfortable place, with a great location.

exceeded our expectations, it was very big, spotlessly clean and the balcony was huge and overlooking one of the many pools. plenty of car parking right outside, about a minutes walk round to the lovely pools, approximately 10 mins walk to beautiful lifeguarded beaches, and a couple of mins walk to the supermarket (with a nice coffee shop attached). literally walk across the road from apartment entrance and there is a gate you go through to get to supermarket, turn right at gate to walk towards the beach. highly recommend this apartment for comfort, cleanliness and privacy. we visited beginning of June and the complex was very very quiet, we generally had the pool nearest to the room to ourselves. there's a very nice Italian restaurant just up the road a few minutes walk, and also a good chip shop next to reception thankyou for a lovely stay ☺️ ps. worth noting, keybox is in the panel next to the door, and take the white key card with you when you leave the complex

The villa was nicely kept and furnished and they provided a baby crib and high chair no problem for us. Miguel was a pleasure to deal with on check in and check out. View of the beach and ocean is lovely in an evening

Nora’s place is excellent, and she’s responsive. Well worth the money. The view from the place is excellent. It’s facing the water, and it has a patio you can look out from. I have no real complaints besides the fact that the lock to get into the building was pretty difficult to unlock. I think others in the building had trouble as well ultimately leading to them propping the door open. They might want to fix that at some point.
