Great place to stay in a wonderful place. Very nicely finished, wonderful to stay and a good base for our walks

Nice house with an absolutely gorgeous view in pictoresque, quiet surroundings. Well-kept pool, nice terrace to the south. Useful fireplace with a good supply of firewood for those chilly early-Spring evenings. In terms of supplies, be prepared to bring just about everything with you. The only things provided were dish-washing liquid, tablets for the dish machine, and two rolls of toilet paper. No salt, pepper, oil or any other usual Airbnb-leftover amenities.

Very cozy home, with nice view from the balcony (the flowers were in bloom, that added to the experience). The outside of the building did not correspond with the cozy inside. 5 minute walk from the lovely beach, 10 minute walk to the supermarket.

We spent 2 1/2 weeks at Clement's house. It was certainly the best equipped and most spacious accommodation we have stayed in so far in the region. The house was built in 1991 and you can tell that Clement has put a lot of love into it since he bought it. Some things are still in their original condition, which makes it much more authentic compared to many of the retort houses in Espartal. The location is perfect for accessing the region's beaches. The district is a purely residential area without bars or shops, which makes it generally very quiet and relaxed. However, a lot is currently being built here and new land is being developed, so that this may change in perspective. Clement is a very friendly and extremely helpful host who was always available and on hand. If you are looking for an authentic place with plenty of space and do not expect a commercially serviced apartment, you have a chance for a great experience.

A beautiful cottage with a beautiful garden. The house has charm and character, pictures and books. There is plenty of space to cook and eat. The garden is fantastic. We felt very comfortable and Thyl is a very nice host.

My husband and I had a very comfortable five night stay at Pedro’s place. The unit was cozy, spacious, and well equipped. We were greeted with a bottle of local wine, water, and oranges. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the terrace with a view of the sea. Though there was also a lovely shared pool, we didn’t make use of it. A highlight for us was the spectacular nearby coastal walking path, and the small local beach. It was handy to have a rented car to explore the area and to buy groceries. We did a day trip to Tavira and drove to nearby Carvoeiro for dinner a couple of times. I would definitely recommend Pedro’s place.

We had a great off-season stay in Bordeira. The house is very comfortable with its two sofas, well-equipped kitchen and wood burning stove. The different terraces allow you to enjoy the sun even if in early November it passes behind the hills around 3pm (but just go to the beach which is so close to enjoy longer). We really enjoyed Amado beach which is wild but still offers rentals and surf lessons and cafes. The location is great for exploring Lagos, Sagres and the west and south coasts of the Algarve. The only downside is the dog droppings in this pretty white and flowery village!

We had a very nice and peaceful stay at casa Atejo. It's a place to connect with nature, to deconnect with the ratrace. The house is renovated wonderful, the fireplace is a big plus. It makes the house even more comfy and pleasant. We had a good contact with Boris and his sister by message and by the website AirBnb. Thank you for the wonderful week we had!

Beautiful apartment with a warm cosy interior. It felt very spacious for a family of 4. being on the ground floor with direct access to the pool was great, the kids loved it. But it can be crowdy during high season i suppose. the pool is not so big. the beds were also comfy as we had good nights of sleep. maybe 1 negative point is the coffee machine. looks fancy but the plastic coffee capsules are not user friendly. but this apartment is a well deserved 9 out of 10. Stayed in this cute apartment for one week . Free parking locally, great location within the old town , near to shops , restaurants and bars . The apartment is remarkably quite for its location, we slept extremely well. The apartment itself has everything you need , nice touches eg condiments available in kitchen . We loved having bfast in the enclosed balcony with the sunrising. Paulo , communicated very well & promptly . Netflix is available if you have an account you can login which was great at night . We were here for the World Superbikes races at the Algarve Autodrome which was a 22 minute drive away . We will definitely be back , thank you for a great stay !

Wow! The moment we walked in, it took my breath away! The ample space, the decor, the view, that wood-burning fireplace! Balcony was much larger than I expected. My husband and I spent eight nights in the two bedroom and two bath and would highly recommend it to anyone. It was so comfortable and beautiful, and we didn't mind staying in it when the weather was not so good. The location was stunning, we enjoyed climbing the rocks and walking the boardwalk, both within steps of the resort. We did not use the heated pool because the air temperature was a little too cold for us. The bistro on the premises had good food and was convenient when we were tired. And plenty of other good restaurants and stores nearby. It's only a short walk to the chapel and to the town center. We spent a total of 18 nights in Albufeira and Carvoeiro and this by far was the best accommodation ever! Great housekeeping. Great value for money. Book it and take day trips to other Algarve locations. It's the best!

Honestly the most serene, well presented, convenient and perfectly sized family apartment we've stayed at in a long time. Everything at your fingertips. Really well presented, clean and fresh and tasteful interior. Loads of kitchen appliances and bits and bobs around the apartment that made it feel like it was our own home from home. Really quiet in the local area, no noise. Also super handy if you need to pop back to the apartment if you're spend a day at the beach. Literally 5 minutes by foot. Friendly holiday makers in the area, a mix of nationalities. Kids made friends on the beach and it felt really safe and relaxed. Busy but not too busy. And we squeezed in a few trips such as a yacht / catamaran trip from Faro to see the caves and see the coast, waterpark day perfect for the kids, a trip to neighbouring village to see tourist sites. Mainly enjoyed the apartment and local beach and restaurants though. Would def book to stay here again.

We were in Lagos for five nights. Caroline’s place was conveniently located near the train station, to restaurants and bars in the Marina area, to the boat and other tour companies, and just a short walk to the promenade and Lagos itself. The area itself was quiet. The unit apartment is large a d roomy, had nice large balconies, and had air conditioning, which was nice in the hotter parts of the day. Easy check-in, easy check-out, and good communication. We were very happy with it.

Very nice, available and responsive, Laurie has always been there if needed. The accommodation is very nicely furnished and very functional. The roof top, a pure wonder to enjoy the view, the sunset during an aperitif, a dinner... Private garage for easy parking on a street where all spaces are quickly used. Very nice location on the ocean, quiet and wonderful little resort. Pedro's place is very nice, I had a great stay!

Harold was an amazing host, answered my questions quickly. Assisted when needed, the apartment was as detailed spacious and had all we needed for a family of 5. Alvor is very cute and quaint, the beaches are beautiful and all the restaurants we visited were brilliant. The locals all made us feel welcomed which helped especially looking for things to do in bad weather. The apartment location is perfect, set off from the busy areas near to a small but adequate supermarket and a great restaurant right below. Nice and quite but with all you need within walking distance. Though to get around an Uber is easy to call and pickup and drop off right at your door basically. Great choice, cant recommend highly enough.

We had a very nice time at Villa Machado! The location is exceptionally good, walking distance across the dunes you can quickly reach Praia Amoreira or Monte Clérigo, both very good surf spots. With small children (and a lot of smell) you are on the beach in 2 minutes by car. Villa Machado is bright, tastefully furnished/furnished and offers generous space. We were two families and everyone had enough space to themselves. The house was waiting for us in very clean condition, we felt right at home. The weather was already very autumnal at the beginning of October, sometimes very foggy and rainy and we felt that clearly in the house. A dehumidifier is ready for this, despite this you can see the villa (and also feel it in the rooms) that it is constantly exposed to high humidity. All in all it was very nice and we would come back anytime!

The villa is beautiful and just as in the photos. Modern and comfortable interior with stunning gardens and pool. It is just a short drive to the beach and big supermarkets and being able to use the nearby tennis club and gym was a big bonus. Communication with the property management company was efficient and professional and any issues were taken care of quickly. Highly recommend a trip here!

Villa certainly lived up to expectations, it was extremely well equipped , secure, spacious and, pristine and the pool and patio facilities were fantastic. We could walk to most places or get an Uber. The sauna didn’t work but Matthijis responded quickly to the request - unfortunately it only worked for another day despite an engineer coming out. We were sent videos of how to work the bbq and sauna. We really enjoyed staying at the villa and would highly recommend it !

We loved our stay at Jinny’s place; gorgeous, spacious house with all amenities. The nearby beach and villages are amazing as well. We would definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful house 5 min drive to a beautiful beach. The pool is heated but we enjoyed the Jacuzzi and normal fireplace more in November. We were able to eat outside at lunchtime. The environment is very quiet and the house is spacious and very well-equipped. Thanks again to Izabel and Taylor for their hosting, welcome gift and great availability.

Had a great week long break, the Air BnB was perfect and the pool is much bigger in person then in the photos.

Adelino is a superb host and his villa is amazing. Extremely responsive and was able to answer any questions right away. Very spacious, clean, private and comfortable. The smell of fresh rosemary every morning in the beautiful garden was an added bonus. Close drive to grocery and restaurants. Coast line and Albufeira just 30 mins drive as well. Would highly recommend.

Extraordinary stay in a beautiful spot. The view is unmatched. The house is perfectly equipped and the pool and spa are lovely. Wilson went above and beyond to care for us before, during, and after the stay. A kind and thoughtful host!!
