Welcome to our new apartment in Val Venosta. Our Mooshof farm is located in the hamlet of Montechiaro. Away from the city traffic, you can enjoy the sounds of a mountain village with the rooster crowing and the well-deserved quiet. We are located at 930 m above sea level, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, the largest protected alpine area in Italy. The apartment is the ideal place to enjoy tranquility with family or friends and to explore the surroundings in every season.

Historic villa

This unique home has a style of its own. The old parlor, historic beds and lights, 2 wood-burning stoves, an old veranda with dining area, parquet floors and a large garden with old fruit trees make a stay a special experience. Clay plastered interior walls, floor and wall heating as well as covered car parking spaces offer the appropriate comforts. For rent is the entire upper ground floor of the building with just under 100m2. New 2025: New oven and sink!

Guest Room „Egon Schiele“

The "Egon Schiele" double room is located on the first floor of the Art Nouveau villa (Café Villa Bux) and is furnished in the same style. The bedroom is equipped with a satellite TV, minibar, desk, and wardrobe. The adjoining private bathroom features a bathtub with a shower screen, a bidet, and a toilet. The room faces the street and includes a spacious balcony. The local tax of €2.20 per person, per night, is charged separately on-site.

Where there was once a large meadow with ferns, our "farnhaus" now stands, surrounded by nature, quietly located and yet quick and easy to reach. In front of us stretches the entire Adige Valley, a spectacle at any time of the day or night, and Merano and Tyrol Castle are at our feet. A perfect starting point for hikes and beautiful walks.
