The highly acclaimed Running Fox cafe & The Plough Inn are just a 5 minute drive away, in Powburn, plus a well stocked shop. There are plenty other places to eat in Alnwick and the surrounding area.

This bright and airy penthouse apartment, set in the former Alnwick Brewery and Maltings, is my home and I’m delighted to share it with you as a base for exploring Alnwick and the surrounding countryside. Just a stone’s throw from Alnwick Castle and Hulne Park, the flat has everything you need to self-cater, with a large supermarket conveniently located opposite. If you’d prefer to eat out, Alnwick’s many restaurants, cafés and pubs are only a few minutes’ walk away.

The cottage has an open-plan spacious ground floor with sitting and dining area with kitchen and 2 en-suite bedrooms on the first floor.garden with patio and more shared gardens to explore. There are many walks right from the door and lots of wildlife to see.

Based on a working farm, you are able to see an abundance of wildlife and livestock whilst experiencing the Northumbrian Countryside. A 15 minute drive to the historic market town of Alnwick where you can wonder around the famous "Harry Potter" Castle and Gardens and quaint independent retailers around the town.
