The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . Elle est situe au grand calme sur 3 hectares de foret, avec une agreable terrasse au sud sur laquel vous pouvez prendre vos repas, faire la sieste,boire l'apero tout en faisant votre barbeqeu la cuisine d'ete. Nous avons récemment fait aménagé un bassin en baignade naturelle, situe en contre bas de la maison.
