We had great time in this beautiful house in lovely historical part of Irsina. The house and the views were much more than we expected. Loved the roof terrace and amazing views towards both green hills and roofs and silhuette of the historical town. Walter and his co-host were super friendly and helpful both beforehand and during the holiday. Warm recommendations for this beautifully renovated house.

Very very nice place with an incredible view. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location is peaceful and full of charm, ideal for anyone wanting to experience authentic southern Italy away from the tourist crowds. Communication with the host was easy and friendly, and everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a relaxing, scenic getaway!

Stunning location, stunning accommodation and fantastic host. A host that genuinely cares about their guest’s holiday experience. So many thoughtful touches that go beyond what is expected to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The interior is spotless with comfortable modern furniture and kitchen with all the cooking utensils you could possibly need. An extremely useful printed book gives info on local bars/ restaurants and places to visit. Smart TV with Netflix etc, Wi-Fi where you just scan QR Code for password for easy access. I could go on and on about the level of thoughtful and considerate detail and the wonderful hosts. Then there is the stunning view and the lovely historic village/ town of Irsina with very friendly locals. Location provides great access to Matera ( about 40 mins by car) and the rest of Basilicata.. Thanks for making us feel so welcome and for being so thoughtful with regard to every single detail you have considered and provided.

Every word would be superfluous to describe Marco's availability and kindness, a rare level of hospitality and when we needed it, he was immediately ready to help us, much more than he was in his duty. Not to mention the location, basically it's a simple country house, then you go out, sit at the table under the gazebo in the garden and it is here that you understand what is special about this place. You can enjoy a breathtaking view that on one side overlooks the valley that then leads to the nearby village of Corleto Perticara, on the other expanses of woods and mountains What can I say, if you're looking for some peace, a few days away from the daily stress, this is the place for you. I hope to return soon, warm greetings from Gabriele and Elisabetta.

Overall- incredible. In a rustic building, but the space was very modern. The kitchen was stocked with all needed items and more. Same with the bathrooms. Lots of extra bedding. No complaints about the space, but the real star of the show was the location, animals, and friendly hosts. Hectares of farmland, with beautiful view of the sunset when it’s clear. There were dogs (very friendly), cats, sheep, a pig, chickens, and ducks and geese. The staff of the farm and Nicola were all easy to talk to and friendly. The dogs did a great job of keeping the property safe! It was fun to be surrounded by real life on the farm.

We had a very short but wonderful stay at Giuseppinas place. She’s an incredibly nice person and helped us in whatever we needed. The house is lovely, it feels like you’re in a fairytale :) beautiful nature around, and especially well equipped apartment! We wish we could have stayed longer 🤗

An unforgettable experience in a peaceful and authentic Italian village with an amazing view over the valley. Plenty of space for a couple seeking a romantic getaway or a family holiday. The kitchen was well equipped which allowed us to try our hand at cooking regional dishes. We also received extensive recommendations from our friendly hosts that led us to delicious (and very affordable) restaurants along with plenty of locations to hike and explore known only to locals. The bedrooms were very clean and spacious with both in close proximity to a bathroom. Finding the place can seem intimidating if you're not used to the small windy European roads at first but thankfully the photos and instructions provided by were very clear and detailed which was a huge help. If you study them carefully before arriving, you won't have any problems. Throughout our stay the host was understanding and responsive ensuring we had a relaxing stay. Highly recommend this hidden little gem in Valva!
