Villa vacation rentals in Potenza

Overall- incredible. In a rustic building, but the space was very modern. The kitchen was stocked with all needed items and more. Same with the bathrooms. Lots of extra bedding. No complaints about the space, but the real star of the show was the location, animals, and friendly hosts. Hectares of farmland, with beautiful view of the sunset when it’s clear. There were dogs (very friendly), cats, sheep, a pig, chickens, and ducks and geese. The staff of the farm and Nicola were all easy to talk to and friendly. The dogs did a great job of keeping the property safe! It was fun to be surrounded by real life on the farm.

A brilliant brand-new place, spacious, very clean, well-equipped and bright. It is a couple of minutes' drive from Melfi (you can see the castle and the cathedral from the sitting room window), close to both culture and shops/restaurants. Roberto was super-helpful and even came to rescue us when we locked ourselves out. (Also, the local olive oil is very good.)

If a relaxing break away from reality is something you're looking for, then this is the place to be! The house is located in the rural areas and Salvatore helpfullt sent us an exact map location so we could find it. The home itself is amazing - pristine, comfortable and private. As it us located in the rural area, you cannot access it without a car. Shops are 15/20 mins away by car. We found 2 grocery shops - De Spar and Supermercarto De Rosaria. De Spar has a little more choice but De Rosaria were super friendly and offered to do a home delivery if we needed it. Salvatore was extremely helpful and although he came in each day to clean the pool and remove the garbage, we never heard him. Definitely a wonderful way to end a very busy tour of Italy. Highly recommend to any families wanting to relax and spend time together.

The house exceeded our expectations, was even more beautiful in reality than on pictures, has its own history documented on many pictures inside. Each bedroom had a nice bathroom and the swimming pool was amazing. The host was super helpful and always happy to answear our questions about the region or local restaurants. The neighberhood is very quiet but distant from the towns and restaurants - a car is necessary. In short - beautiful place to stay with excelllent hospitality for someone looking for real Italian experience, far away from touristic chaos and crowded locations. Thank you!!

An ideal place to enjoy a wonderful vacation should always begin with a friendly, accommodating, helpful host who greets you and immediately makes you feel welcomed and at home. Gianfranco is that kind of host. We were greeted by him and his lovely daughter and we knew at once that we were going to have a great vacation at “La Caprignola.” We were not disappointed. The house was immaculately clean, is very spacious, charmingly decorated and has every amenity you could want to make your stay comfortable and hassle free. No detail has been overlooked. The outdoor space, the garden and patio, is also very spacious with areas in which you can relax day and night and loads of space that our pet dog spent happy hours exploring. The house is totally private, surrounded by olive trees and abundant plantings. A perfect place to relax and though located in the countryside it is only a few minutes drive from the lively, historic and lovely town of Buccino where you will find anything you might need (markets, restaurants, bars, etc.). It is also ideally located for exploring the vast and beautiful Cilento with its breathtaking vistas; Basilicata; Salerno; Paestum; and any number of historic towns. Thank you Gianfranco for a great vacation. We look forward to returning.

Nice location surrounded by greenery, in a very peaceful and relaxing area. The house is equipped with all the necessary amenities, very clean and comfortable. Vito was very kind and helpful, a perfect host. Ps: the sauces and jams were real treats!

A very nice house in the middle of a natural park, a little piece of paradise. Pietro welcomed us wonderfully and gave us some corners undeniably etched in our minds, young and old.

The house is spacious and beautifully furnished. We had 5 children , aged 3-8 and were a little concerned about some of the ornaments and art work. We moved these to the library area to avoid any possibility of damage. The outside areas are well planned. A big outside table for eating, an area to sit and relax and a covered area which was handy when it rained. The pool is great and there is a big lawn . A short drive to the Buffalo mozzarella farm, and Paestum , both places we recommend . As per Rosanna’s rules there is a charge to use the BBQ. This is clearly stated and we were aware of it. We chose not to use it,feel the bbq should be included in the rental of the place. Also as per rules there is an up front cost of euro150 and the meters are read together at beginning and end of rental.. We did not use the air con, but we did use the washing machine most days. We had to pay an extra 15 euros at the end. There was a spectacular fireworks display in a nearby town that we enjoyed watching on our last night Thank you

This stay from arrival to departure felt like home, we were welcomed into village life by the locals. The views are beautiful, the local food is amazing, butchers, mini mart, pharmacy, bakery, patisserie, pizzeria, coffee shop, bars and gelato all within walking distance. We chose to shop local and all products are locally sourced. Giuseppe and Gina couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly we had an amazing stay! A beautiful rural location with outstanding views, famous for globe artichoke and olive oil. Host immediately available for any issues.
