Beachfront vacation rentals in Portsmouth

We had a really lovely break at Caribbean Corner which is in a beautiful location just above Priory Bay and an easy walk along to Seaview. Everything was as described and the outdoor hot shower was great!

We had the best time at Bothole. Everything was as shown in the photos, and James was a fantastic host. I can’t wait to recommend the spot for a seaside getaway.

Lovely view from the living room. My only real grumble is parking is very tight next to all the blocks bins which means they weren’t emptied, and also making hard to load and unload the car when two cars parked up outside

This property is amazing 2 balcony's front of house during day rear of house to catch late evening sun, Lovely and clean and everything you need at hand also how many times have rented a place and expect you to survive a week one one toilet roll not here over 10 in the 3 toilets . Lovely view if you can't be bothered to do the 2 minute walk the the beach front then sit on balcony and watch the day go by, absolutely loved our week.

Beautiful house in a perfect location (as long as you don’t mind a bit of noise from passing traffic and pub next door). The view of the sea is stunning and the house was spotlessly clean and fresh. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The property is absolutely immaculate. It is more spacious than the photos suggest. The beach is literally at the end of the drive. Such a convenient spot. And the beds!! Well, if you don’t sleep well here then you won’t sleep well anywhere. Great place. Great host. Great time.

We had a wonderful few days here. The view is addictive! We stayed up way too late tracking vessels coming in and out of Southampton. The chalet is spacious and beds very comfortable. It was a bonus to be able to park the camper van right behind the chalet and to bring two small dogs. Sadly weather was too poor to make use of the pool this time. Perhaps we missed the instructions but we had troubke finding no 77. Advise looking at the site plan as you enter the holiday park. All in all a very good stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at this lodge on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Tucked away in a peaceful caravan park just a stone’s throw from the sea, it offered the perfect mix of relaxation and seaside charm. The location couldn’t be better—waking up to the beautiful sea view and being able to stroll down to the beach in just minutes was absolute bliss. The on site pool and playground were the perfect end to a day exploring for our kids, all the staff here were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. The accommodation itself was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed was there, from towels, a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and a lovely lounge area with the most stunning uninterrupted sea views . It felt more like a boutique coastal retreat than a lodge! Can’t recommend this place highly enough—whether you’re after a romantic escape, a quiet solo retreat, or a family break by the sea, this gem has it all. Thank you Rob :)

We had a great stay in Louisa’s caravan. The location was great, right next to the swimming pool, restaurants and beach. The place had all we needed for a great week away and the weather was great too! Day trip to the beach at West wittering was great.

We loved staying in the boathouse. Ideal for a family with children. Wonderful location looking over the creek . We didn’t hear the ferry which is 5 minutes away. We liked the sound of children playing on the other side of the creek. The pool area was recently upgraded. The property is well equipped and comfortable. Catherine was an excellent host who looked after every detail professionally.

We loved the apartment - it was spotless, spacious, and in the most gorgeous seafront location. Hosts had fab communication too. We love the area and will definitely visit again in the future ☺️

This is honestly one of the best places we've stayed through airbnb 😍 The Haven is just that - a peaceful place to relax and unwind. It is so beautifully decorated, super clean and spacious. We felt right at home. Charmaine and Toby have thought of everything - from extra treats in the fridge, a coffee machine with pods provided to little toiletries in case you've forgotten anything. The bath in the room felt like real luxury too! The instructions we're really clear and Charmaine was very quick to respond to any messages. Super easy check in and check out, we were even offered an extra hour in the morning on the day of check out! Thank you for an amazing stay, we will absolutely look to stay here again the next time we're in Christchurch! Highly recommend!

The place is nice, just few steps away from the sea and bay view. It is great to walk around and have fresh air specially in the morning. There is a nice park and arcade area nearby for kids to have fun. The only difficulties we had was finding a space to park the car along the road side specially if you're late going back to the house. Amy is very attentive in ensuring you get the parking permit on the road side beforehand. Great place to explore Portsmouth and Southsea area.

Thanks to Wendy and Barry for a lovely stay at The Hideaway. It is a delightful little place and they have thought of every practical thing needed for a comfortable stay, including some welcome treats! We have no hesitation in recommending The Hideaway for a break in Hampshire.

It was a real pleasure to stay at Mark's place. The room is clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Checking in was straightforward and communication was excellent throughout. I would happily stay here again!

Gary's flat was wonderful with a beautiful view of the common and the Solent. So easy to walk to great restaurants and the seafront from and comfortable to stay in!

Liz & Alex were the perfect hosts, a v kind, warm & helpful couple, v friendly & responsive but not intrusive. It felt like they genuinely cared about their guests’ experience. Delicious cake, organic milk & fresh flowers on arrival much appreciated & made us feel v welcomed. The apartment is light & airy & tastefully furnished. The garden is delightful & lovely to sit on the bench & soak up the sun & views. Well situated right next to cliff top walks & within walking distance of cafes & restaurants. Excellent location with lovely sea views. We had a wonderful stay & would love to return, thank you!
