We enjoyed our stay at Terrus Winery & Cottages very much! Maria & Isabel were great hosts. The property is beautiful, very peaceful. We especially loved the dogs and view over the river at sunset. We scheduled a wine tasting which was also a fun way to learn about the wine grown on the property as well. Highly recommend for a very relaxing & peaceful getaway in the Douro Valley!

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

This place was such a gem! It truly felt like a hidden piece of countryside tucked right into the heart of the city. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the cozy, cabin-style space made it feel like a peaceful retreat. I loved how you could enjoy total calm and still be just minutes away from all the action. The sweet dogs on the property added such a warm, homey touch too! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a beautiful, serene, and unique place to stay.

Estadia impecável num sítio lindo tanto a localização do espaço como o espaço em si. Muito acolhedor com tudo o que era necessário e muito mais até. o Sr José é a simpatia em pessoa, sempre disposto a ajudar e muito querido. A minha namorada fazia anos e o Sr José trouxe-lhe um mini bolo de aniversário ao pequeno almoço, outra coisa incrível o pequeno almoço é excelente e com tudo muito bom! Resumindo, o espaço e o sítio onde se encontra são ambos lindos, com paisagens incríveis! O sr José é a personificação de hospitalidade, simpatia e cuidado, sempre preocupado e deu nos recomendações excelentes tanto de coisas para fazer como sítios para comer. Por fim dizer que recomendo e vou voltar com certeza!!! ADOREI!!!

Un petit paradis dans un environnement calme. Le logement est rempli de petites attentions pour les locataires: bougies parfumées, livres en francais, portugais et anglais, produits de beauté de qualité pour se doucher, etc... qui invitent à la détente pour un séjour cocooning au coin du feu. Voor mij was het een perfecte ruimte. Ik was voor 5 dagen in Porto en had ook een auto gehuurd om de Dourovallei te verkennen. Deze kon ik gemakkelijk parkeren. De ruimte zelf is mooi en rustig gelegen in een grote tuin, maar toch op loopafstand van het centrum van Porto. Het was heerlijk om na een dag in de drukke stad te genieten van de rust en vredigheid. De ruimte was opgeruimd en schoon, en het bed was heel fijn. Let op dat er geen kook- en eetgelegenheid is; er is wel een opklapbare tafel om even te kunnen ontbijten. In de zomer kun je dat buiten doen maar dat was nu nog even te koud. Al met al had ik een heel prettig verblijf bij Miguel en ik zou zeker terugkomen als ik nog eens naar Porto ga.

We had a lovely stay here - the lemon farm is really pretty and the ponies are so friendly! The bungalow is gorgeous and exactly as shown in the pictures. There were lots of additional things added which made this great, such as the pool lighting up at night, a projector so you can watch tv on the deck, and lots of blankets provided. Jorge was really responsive and happy to help. Would recommend this stay.

had a wonderfull stay in this lovely garden house with my daughter, all was as expected even better. flavio is a responsive host but very busy. we felt welcome and we're greatful for the trust. ten minute walk from metro, and close to thé bustling city centre. good restaurants nearby. if i have one remark: the kitchen is basic especially the utensils, but it was n t my intention to cook so no problem. love to come back this time with boyfriend, thanks flavio!

Het is een prachtig domein en de bungalows zijn heel uniek. We hadden op onze eerste avond helaas een tegenvaller: onze buren waren luid aan het feesten terwijl wij net kwamen voor de rust en de natuur. Inês heeft er meteen op gereageerd en ons de dag nadien een huisje verderop aangeboden zodat we het zeker rustig hadden. We zijn echt heel positief over haar gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid en ook Gaudencio en Julia waren enorm hartelijk, we voelden ons heel welkom. In de winter zijn de bungalows wel behoorlijk koud, daar ben je beter op voorbereid, maar de charme en gezelligheid overtreft alles.

Die Zeit in der Unterkunft bei Pedro und seiner Familie war wunderbar. Sie waren sehr freundlich familiär und hilfsbereit. Das Gartenhaus hatte etwas magisches an sich und war der perfekte Ort um Ruhe zu finden und es sich gemütlich zu machen. Da es viel geregnet hat als wir da waren, haben sie dafür gesorgt, dass die Unterkunft schön warm ist. Uns wurden zwei Heizstrahler bereit gestellt und mehrere Decken. Und somit war es immer kuschlig und warm und wir haben uns sehr gefreut sobald wir wieder “zuhause” angekommen sind. Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Aufenthalt und wir sind sehr dankbar!

Gîte très agréable, vue magnifique, équipement simple et suffisant, les gardiens, Antonio et Julia ont été adorables et très professionnels. Le seul détail qui devrait être corrigé c'est l'adresse que donne Rbnb "Rua das Lamas, nº 2022 S. Cipriano 2022, 4660-308 Resende, Portugal" cela ne correspond en rien a l'adresse du gîte. A cette adresse correspond un habitant, très gentil qui a bien voulu nous montrer le chemin en voiture pour nous rendre au gîte. Mais après 5 heures de route dont les dernières dans un environnement très escarpé, nous nous serions bien passés d'avoir à descendre au 2022 Rua das Lamas et d'avoir à faire demi tour dans la cour de ce monsieur, adorable au demeurant. Sinon, Inès, tout était parfait Merci encore pour ce séjour A bientôt (maintenant que nous connaissons la bonne adresse.....) Cathie et René

Our stay was excellent. The location is great, close to the airport. The studio was excellent, had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, as well as the shower. Everything was very clean. Nuno was very helpful and responded right away to any question I had. Would stay here again if I'm in the area. Definitely would recommend this place.

Foi tudo 5*, desde a marcação na qual tiraram todas as dúvidas existentes, até ao check out. O pequeno almoço era muito bem recheado e valeu bem o valor. A simpatia e prestabilidade foram pontos a favor. A casa estava muito bem arranjada e limpa. Surpreendeu nos pela positiva tudo nesta estadia. Foram poucos os dias mas valeram a pena .
