Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Portimão

Wonderful place, like feeling at home, the apartments are equipped with everything, even the first basic things for cooking, upon our arrival they made us find cookies, water and cheese and they made us taste the bread they made themselves, they have a vegetable garden where we could pick fresh tomatoes and figs directly from the tree, also available umbrella and small deck chairs for the beach. Carla's tips for visiting beaches and the restaurants she recommended were excellent.

Francisca's villa has everything you could possibly need. Its in a beautiful and central location. We hired a car so we could visit Lagos, Sagres and Bergau (which were less then 30mins drive) but if you wanted to stay out you would be very happy here, with a beautiful beach on your doorstep and a great selection of restaurants and bars within minutes to be all to. Francisca gave great recommendations as to which to try. She was a responsive and helpful host. We will be back! Thank you souvh Francisca x

I stayed with Alice for two months over the winter. The location was ideal close to all you need, restaurants, shops and bars. Alice was always responsive and made the trip run smoothly. I would highly recommend.

Great place to rest and relax. Calm, very beautiful sounds of birds and other animals. Comfortable house, large rooms and very well equipped.

We stayed six nights at Celisa's, we had a very good time. The house was spacious and clean. The outdoor garden is gorgeous. Celisa was always very kind and helpful.

Very nice, clean house, with everything you need! Comfortable beds and sofas - very nice to relax. There are many dogs often bark loudly in the neighborhood at night, so we recommend earplugs.

A host that is there for you and give a lot of tips of that do do, they take care of you and responds time on Whatsup is fantastic. the place is easy to find and spotless clean and quiet. a good place to stay.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful Jackie is and her home. It exceeded expectations and we’ll be recommending it. We’ve stayed in a lot of air bnbs. This home has every amenity you’ll need. We have a family of five - kids are aged 7, 6 and 3. They loved it so much and didn’t want to leave. The home is clean and has incredible character. There were games to entertaining the kids and so much space. We’ve learned our kids need space and always stay away from busy areas. Jackie’s home is close to the chaos but provides a retreat for when you want to unwind and listen to the birds and wander the beautiful and well taken care of gardens. She provided loads of recommendations and was very responsive. Truly a wonderful home. Thank you!!!!

I had an excellent short stay at Bruno’s space. Nice modern apartment, true to all the photos. Balcony space is great with lovely grounds and pool. Quiet location and well away from the hustle and bustle of the promenade area but within 15-20 mins walk. I would happily return.

Inês & Jorge’s place was exceptionally clean and exactly as described. The kitchen was well equipped and I appreciated the extras like salt, pepper, olive oil. The bathroom had a very nice shower with good water pressure. The blow dryer worked well and the magnifying mirror was a plus. There is a small grocery store at the entrance of the complex or a large Pingo Doce a few minutes walk down the hill. I really enjoyed my stay here & would recommend this place to others visiting Lagos.

Our stay couldn't have been better! Margarida was very responsive and gave all the necessary indications to find the apartment, in addition to allowing us to check in before the time. The apartment was very organized and we were offered a bottle of wine and water, which knew very well! I can highly recommend it!

A welcome pack advising of where local places to eat and drink would have been good but not a massive issue as we like to explore. Thicker curtains in the bedroom would be beneficial for anybody who likes to sleep later. Every other aspect was great. Loads of essentials to make a very enjoyable stay. Would recommend.

We had already stayed with David and we were very happy to return, it's like being at home. The place was very quiet during this period, we had a great time. David immediately fulfilled our every request, we thank him very much.

We (couple with a daughter of 1,5 years) had a pleasant stay in the apartment of Ingmar. The instruction was really clear to find it and enter for the first time as well as all other recommendations. The house is equipped with everything you need, the kitchen had everything to prepare a good meal after a sunny day at the beach. As the apartment includes a cot and high chair we can recommend it for others as well with children.

We had a great time at Eurico's house. The bed is very comfortable. The views from the terrace are fantastic. Too bad the weather didn't allow us to enjoy them.

Vladimir is a very good host. He always helped us and also gave good tips for the area. He brought a small gift for our 3 children and us. The accommodation is ideal for families, also with use of the indoor pool simply great. The facility itself is for families 1 A. Thank you Vladimir to you and your family.

Jorge’s place was really a home away from home especially with our three little girls (5, 4, 1.5 years old). Our girls loved the two bunkbeds. It was spacious, super clean & the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need to cook meals but also walkable to many beaches and restaurants; however one of our favourites was the restaurant just below the building! We loved the beach behind the building as well which was only a few minutes walk. We didn’t end up using the pools in the facility but everything looked great! Jorge himself was very responsive, professional and definitely a superhost helping us check-in as we booked this Airbnb very last minutes and got there later in the evening. The shampoo and conditioner in the showers were nicer than the ones I have at home. I highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again when we come back to Portugal in the future. Nice, clean, comfortable, and very big home. Great price. A convenient place to stay between Lago and Albufeira so we could sightsee other places. It is in Portimao so very close to the Bengil cave l, short drive for us to hike the Seven Hanging Valley trail. We had a great stay. Thank You Avelino.
