Villa vacation rentals in Portimão

This was a great place to stay. It is exactly as it appeared. Incredibly spacious. A few local restaurants in walking distance that were nice. A close walk to an amazing small beach with a great bar, cafe and restaurant - feels almost private. The only reason for the 4 star point was that there was limited written information about the house/surrounding area in the house, however, reception was able to provide all the answers we needed when we asked. Would love to return again!

We highly recommend Carla and her family's place. We felt right at home and had a great time. The location is very quiet, on a hill and from some places you have sea views. The beach is a 15-minute walk away without having to walk much on the road but via a small path that starts directly below the property. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and comfortably furnished with a beautiful terrace to sit outside. Carla is a warm host and her husband and parents, who also live there, are super nice. We were provided with eggs from their own chickens and with homemade bread. There were many recommendations for activities/beaches and restaurants from Carla. The place is wonderful to relax and enjoy Portugal. We would come back.

Really enjoyed our stay. With a 5min walk to the beach and swimming pools, along with all the areas for the kids to play at, it was great.

All we were looking for!! Proximity to the beach (5 minutes on foot, with children), quiet place, without noise or traffic (great to be able to relax), proximity to services (5 minutes by car from Lagos) and incredible views of the half-beach! The house was very spacious, fully equipped and furnished with taste. The host was extremely attentive and helpful in all our questions. Definitely a place to advise and repeat for a family beach vacation!

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment of John, we had some problems at the beginning with the key and the Wi-Fi, but John was easy to reach and Esther helped us quickly.

We rented her house for a week and had a great time. Easy check-in and out. Big house with 4 bedrooms, big living room and dining room. Pool and a great outdoor area with sundeck and bbq. Access to the driving range from the garden, but tokens has to be purchased in the club house. Tennis court just outside the garden and free to use. If you are in the area to play golf, get the Golfamore card and pay half the green fee at the nearby golf course and several more within the near area.

Sue and Ant's house was the perfect home for our stay. It is beautiful and so well equipped for a family holiday. The house itself was ideal for what we needed, and the outside areas just amazing for days around the fabulous pool, and the BBQ area made for memorable nights to catch up around the lovely dinner table. And then the incredible roof terrace too, to watch the beautiful sunsets...the house is an easy 15 min drive to Lagos, but far enough way to provide a sense of being away from everything. And the oyster farm just down the road! We honestly couldn't have found a better place for our holiday catching up with family and friends. Sue, Ant and Christina, the excellent property manager, couldn't have been easier to deal with, and did everything they could to make our stay as special as it could have been. And it truly was a special holiday, one we won't forget and only hope we can repeat in the future! Thank you so, so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. X

We had a wonderful holiday at Casa Desa, which was spacious and suited our large family perfectly, the pool and games room were especially popular. All the bedrooms were large with good en-suite facilities, the kitchen and utility were well equipped. The outdoor dining area was used every day and we very much enjoyed the al fresco lifestyle. We enjoyed the location being close to many beautiful beaches and golf courses, the local restaurants were ok but we found some lovely ones during our stay. We had a few little niggles: * Having booked the villa more than a year ahead we were nervous that there were very few reviews, this coupled with gaps in communication with the host made us a little anxious. * we had been assured that there was a high chair and cot located at the villa, however, it took several emails and a call to get these from the locked storage room. *maid service was disappointing, we were there for four weeks and had to chase for service Highly recommended overall.

The house is a bit older in terms of furnishings, but was very clean and equipped with really everything you need for a vacation. Both the garden and the terrace were wonderful. The proximity to the beach is fantastic! The welcome from J.P.'s aunt was very warm. A very nice person. All in all very straightforward. We recommend it! Obrigada por tudo!

We had an amazing stay at the villa! It was modern, spotless, tidy, and fully equipped. Communication with Adelino was excellent - he responded very quickly, allowed us to check in early, and was there personally at check-in and check-out to explain everything. He was very welcoming and even arranged a late check-out for us, which we really appreciated. One small point of improvement: we were informed about next door construction only at check-in. A heads-up before arrival would have been appreciated, as the noise started early in the morning and there was a lot of building activity around. Still, Adelino’s hospitality and the quality of the villa made our stay truly enjoyable. We would definitely recommend and would love to return!

The villa is amazing! Clean, spacious and well equipped. We met Isabel, Carla’s colleague, she was very helpful and lovely.

We were a group of 10 people and had a wonderful time at Sam's villa The facilities were perfect, everything was clean and looked like the pictures. Sam was a perfect hostess who was always helpful and available. The villa is in a quiet area, but you are within 10-15 minutes by car to the lively places. We would definitely come back again!

We absolutely loved our stay. The villa was beautiful, exactly as described, and the location was stunning. Cristina was an excellent host. Her communication was wonderful and she was super responsive during our stay and helped us out with a few queries so effectively and without issue. Our stay was peaceful, comfortable and absolutely relaxing and we would love to return. Thanks so much from us all.

Our family stayed at Villa Aggi for 10 days. Barbara and management always responded promptly. The heated pool was our favourite place to chill and relax. The villa has everything you need and more. Lots of close supermarkets for groceries too. We would recommend getting a car to make travel easier. I would highly recommend this Villa !

A stunning villa. We were 2 families with 5 teenagers and there was plenty of space for us all. The pool and balcony area were especially fabulous-the view is even better than the photos. It’s in a perfect location with several beaches, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. A taxi into Ferragudo was only €5. It’s a small town with nice restaurants and just a few shops. Good supermarkets were an easy drive away. Francisco was really helpful both before and during our stay. He made some good restaurant recommendations and sorted surf lessons for us, including pick up from the villa which was amazing. A fabulous holiday-would definitely recommend. Thank you.

We had an amazing time at the house. It was beautiful and comfortable. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor spaces. The pool was a little chilly but very refreshing. Our group ordered in groceries and alcohol which made things very easy. The town itself was fun to explore and dine in. Sophia was very quick to answer any questions we had. We'd definitely come back and stay at the villa.

Location of the house in a good area, close to all the beautiful places in Algarve. The house is equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the pool is a plus to take advantage of the garden.

Amazing place to stay as a family. We loved our stay at the villa. One negative is that there is a camera in the living room. We felt uncomfortable camera being there. Other than that everything was amazing

Very comfortable stay, thank you! We had a slight issue locating the property but Fabienne and Nicolas responded quickly and provided further directions. They also arranged a slightly earlier check in time for us which was very appreciated. Beautiful view from the roof terrace. Great location and walkable to the town and beach. The villa was perfect for our stay in Alvor. The villa was a great size with plenty of room to chill and relax at in the evening or during the day if you want to just enjoy the facilties. The complex itself is a short walk from some of the best beaches I have ever been to. In addition to the beaches the complex has a shop, restaurants, and multiple pools to use. We had plenty to keep us busy for the 7 days we stayed. The host was also extremely accommodating and let us check in early on arrival. Will definitely stay here again, and recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.

It was a great stay, we were able to really switch off, quiet surroundings, great views. The journey is difficult without an SUV. Still a great recommendation!

My cousins loved it. I was sorry I couldn't be there, but duty called and I couldn't make it. But from the feedback, the stay was very good. I hope nothing was different from how you delivered the house to them. Best regards Ronaldo Tavares

Very quiet location. The closest beach is beautiful, at high tide the water is incredibly clear! We loved our stay with Zain.
