Villa vacation rentals in Portimão

Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our time at Maria’s villa. The photos exceeded our expectations and the villa was very clean. Check in was very easy with Maria providing photos and a guide of the keys and how to open the pool. Maria was responsive to any query we had. As we didn’t have a car, we did need to use a lot of taxi services to commute to places such as the super market and to the beach front, which over the 2 weeks did mount up, however in the future we would hire a car to solve this problem. Air conditioning was not included in the price and needed to be requested and paid extra, however Maria was accommodating during our stay if we wanted to have the air con, Maria has kindly offered to include the air con in our price on our next stay as a loyalty reward which is very kind. Thank you for an amazing stay where we have made memories of a life time!

Visited Alvor with a group of friends for a long weekend. Excellent villa in a great location… 5 min walk to the harbour area and town centre. Everything we needed in the accommodation and it felt like home from home Highly recommended

Great stay in a great location in a lovely, spacious, clean house.

Really nice villa tucked away up the hill a 5-10 minute walk behind the marina in Lagos. 3 good sized bedrooms, plenty of space, bathrooms, amenities etc. The pool and outdoor space was also lovely, quiet and clean. Emily was super helpful, always responded promptly and helpfully. Sent really clear instructions for finding and accessing the property, made it clear that she was available if we needed anything but also left us to it. Even put some beers and snacks in the fridge as we were arriving late on a Sunday.

The villa is pure happiness. We were surprised to see that the floor tiles of the whole house had been changed, which gives a modern look to this villa which has all the charms of a family home. It feels like home and the different outdoor spaces are worked. The materials are noble. The owner and her husband are just adorable. Just so you know, after we left I forgot my passport in the house. The husband found it for me and gave it to me at 1am. 😊 I'm obviously sorry for waking them up , but it shows the heart and soul of these people. Villa ideal for groups of friends and great for families. Definitely recommend.

Excellent home. Next door to a private beach and close to many restaurants and bars. Margarida went out of the way to provide details of the attractions in the area and was very responsive to questions.

Great place to stay. We were a group of 10 with a baby, kids and older adults and we were all catered for. Nice neighbourhood with a 10 min walk to Praia da rocha beach and restaurants and just a short (and cheap) taxi to Alvor or Portimao for many more great restaurants.

First time in Lagos and Portugal. Quiet residential area. Walkable to the beach across some rough land, about 10mins. Ubers super cheap. WiFi dropped out a few times. Tv doesn't work at these times. We had a good holiday. Plenty of hot water. Change of towels twice a week and bedding once a week.

The villa is amazing! Clean, spacious and well equipped. We met Isabel, Carla’s colleague, she was very helpful and lovely.

We were a group of 10 people and had a wonderful time at Sam's villa The facilities were perfect, everything was clean and looked like the pictures. Sam was a perfect hostess who was always helpful and available. The villa is in a quiet area, but you are within 10-15 minutes by car to the lively places. We would definitely come back again!

Had a wonderful 8 days at the villa. Cristina has been a wonderful host, helping us with any queries re the villa and surrounding area. The villa is fabulous, with amazing views of the beach and sea, peaceful surroundings and a beautiful pool area. It’s a 40min walk into Lagos harbour area, approx. And a 10min car drive. All the rooms were clean and minimalist which was perfect. It would have been nice to have had a shower holder/mount in our room (double that looks over the pool) as we had to use the showers in our friends rooms. The kitchen was fab and filled with all the utensils and equipment we needed. Living areas and balconies were comfortable and relaxing. Loved the neutral decor throughout. Would be more than happy to come back for a future stay. Thank you! ☺️

I was with the family, we really enjoyed the house and the stay. There was a small issue with the pool that was promptly resolved. It's been a great few days.

Just got back from a 5 day stay and honestly what a beautiful villa! Everything you need, felt like home to home. The whole place is beautiful, outdoor pool with sun beds, a BBQ and outdoor dining area too plus everything you need inside. Set in a beautiful location that’s quiet but also easy to access the marina nearby and other nice places too. Barbara has been so quick on messages and so helpful with everything. I couldn’t recommend enough! We will definitely be back again. Thank you ☺️⭐️

We had a lovely week here at the end of April! There was plenty of space for our family of 9 adults. The villa is private and peaceful and the views from the living area and balcony are amazing! We appreciated the fluffy towels in the bathrooms and the extra towels for pool use. A couple of bars and restaurants are in easy walking distance and we often walked to Ferragudo along the cliff path and beach. The villa is well located to visit other areas of the Algarve by car. Francisco was very helpful, allowing us to be flexible with the checking in and out times and recommending nearby restaurants.

Increíble property!! Spent a month here and it literally felt like home. Very comfortable to live in, has everything you need, has epic views and it’s really nice and peaceful. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Thank you for having me!

Spectacular place- we were a large group of 8 adults and 3 children ranging from 1 year to 73 years old. The host arranged and booked us a transfer from Faro airport, which was a very comfortable 1 hour drive away from the accommodation The house itself was in pristine condition, situated about a 7 minute taxi ride or 30 minute walk away from either Alvor or Portimão. The house is obviously still being fully renovated, with 3 more bedrooms locked off to us on the highest level, but the large open-plan kitchen and living area was furnished to the highest degree, with the exceedingly large television impressing the kids the most. Every bedroom was well furnished with comfortable beds, fresh sheets etc. The pool was a huge hit, and the two outdoor areas for eating or relaxing at were great. The beach was around a 15 minute walk away, and was stunning. The only small complaint would be the occasionally over powering smell coming from the 4 toilets upstairs. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful stay at Martine’s place. The villa was very spacious and clean. All the bedrooms were lovely and a good size. The swimming pool was the highlight of the trip. Good communication from Martine and Bernard who met us and was very welcoming. They were quick to fix an issue with the shutters and also brought over a bottle of wine as a birthday gift which was a lovely touch. Thank you! My family had had an amazing time and would love to come back again soon.

We enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for what we needed with our family and two young children. We all enjoy the pool so much, the kids enjoyed the playground. We appreciated the umbrella that was brought during our stay and the responsiveness of the host with some needs that came up during our stay. We had other family staying nearby and liked the location of being able to walk to their place along with a few different restaurants, and beautiful beaches.

It was a great stay, we were able to really switch off, quiet surroundings, great views. The journey is difficult without an SUV. Still a great recommendation!

Group of 6 of us had a lovely time here. was easy to drive into Lagos or get an Uber. Having an unsuited per bedroom was great. House was pristine and location was private and peaceful! There is some construction next door on weekdays which made some noise in the morning but didn't bother us ! Instructions were clear and place was easy to find.

We were a family group of eight including three young children, and so the Villa suited us well. It is a lovely Villa, well furnished and provides all the accommodation you could want. The pool is a very good size, and has a gradual steps/slope in, and so it was ideal for our young children to play in the shallow end. We requested the pool heating, and the water was an ideal temperature for our holiday in late May/early June. The pool was well looked after and clean. The Villa has a really large garden and so is good for children to play and let off steam, and there is the further advantage of access to the driving range and tennis court. We used the BBQ, but most evenings went to one of the many restaurants in Alvor or by the beach. No need to worry about drink driving or walking as Ubers are plentiful and only 4 or 5 Euros into town. Double beds in all bedrooms was not ideal for our group, but Ursina did arrange for a cot and put u up to make it work for us.
