Beachfront vacation rentals in Portimão

This is our second time staying here. Great location steps from the beach. Dedicated parking spot. Great restaurants. Good AC and wifi if you need to work remotely. We will be back.

Geweldige ruimte, ruim netjes en schoon. Alles wat we nodig hadden, was aanwezig en werkend. Lokatie is prima, rustig en beloopbaar. Goede super dichtbij. Christina is een geweldige host, heel behulpzaam. We hadden een leuke, gezellige vakantie in Lagos.

We had a great stay at Sylvie's house, which is very well equipped and comfortable. Sylvie is super friendly and responds quickly to queries. We had our dog with us and loved the fact that we could access a lovely walk straight from the property which leads to the lighthouse and coastal path from where there are spectacular views. The only downside for us was that the nearest beach does not allow dogs even out of the main season. It is a little way out of the main area of Ferragudo but this was not a problem as there were plenty of parking opportunities. Only an 8 minute drive to 2 main supermarkets so easy to stock up with supplies. We would definitely come back again next time we are in the area.

Ein wirklich bezaubernder Ort nah an der Natur, wo wir zur Ruhe kommen konnten und die Nähe zum Meer mit einem fantastischen Ausblick genießen konnten. Besonders fand ich, dass es echte Zimmerpflanzen in der Wohnung gab und auch auf der fantastischen Terrasse. Wunderbarer Ort für den Dezember Urlaub. Ratsam ist ein Mietwagen, da die Anlage doch ein wenig außerhalb liegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I had a wonderful stay at Pedro’s place. You can hear the ocean from the balcony and the beach is less than 5 minute walk. I felt very safe there. It is also pristine and well kept and wonderfully designed, the moment I walked in I was excited to stay there. Thanks Pedro, I’ll be back for sure!

We loved our stay at Anna’s place in Portimao. The location was perfect as we only had a rental car for a week of our month long stay. We found the location to be ideal to go to a variety of beaches and an abundant amount of dinning options at your doorstep The larger grocery stores were also only a 17 minute walk away. Good value for a long term stay in the algarve.

Angelo was such a lovely and gracious host. He was so accommodating and welcoming. The location can't be beat. Highly recommend!

Sam is a fantastic host and we couldn’t have asked for more. The apartment was spotless and in a beautiful, quiet location only a short walk to the local beach or into the old town where there are some great restaurants. This is the third time we have visited Ferragudo and will definitely be back again next year 😍

Francisca's villa has everything you could possibly need. Its in a beautiful and central location. We hired a car so we could visit Lagos, Sagres and Bergau (which were less then 30mins drive) but if you wanted to stay out you would be very happy here, with a beautiful beach on your doorstep and a great selection of restaurants and bars within minutes to be all to. Francisca gave great recommendations as to which to try. She was a responsive and helpful host. We will be back! Thank you souvh Francisca x

What a magical few days we had! The apartment is really lovely, as is the roof top view. All the stuff you need is there for small children - toys, books, highchair and blackout shutters were all really useful. Lots of lovely local restaurants and a stunning beach nearby which was quiet with great food options. Pool was a bit nippy as it isn’t heated but warmed up over the week, and was always empty when we went. We’d recommend Club Nau, Brunch in Rio, O Velho Novo and Delizie for yummy food and friendly staff. A really wonderful spot, and lovely place to stay with everything easy to walk to. Faro airport transfers easy with Uber as well.

Vi var her 12 stk. med storfamilien frå Norge og Tyskland og koste oss veldig. Vi hadde god plass fordelt på 3 etasjer. Det meste var på plass. Det var fint å bu så sentralt, men likevel så roleg. Det hadde vore bra om ein kunne ha skaffa noen fleire stolar og solskjerming. Tusen takk, vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang und eine sehr schöne Wohnung, in der wir uns wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Wohnung ist darüber hinaus sehr zentral und doch ruhig gelegen. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir bedanken uns ganz besonders bei Elaine und Stephen für einen gefüllten Kühlschrank, all die anderen Annehmlichkeiten sowie für die wunderbar herzliche Kommunikation. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Everything was great and as described in the listing! The appartment was clean and had everything we needed. There is a supermarket right downstairs where you can shop everything. The garage for parking was amazing. Edite was very proactive and responsive, we were kindly able to check in early as we had a morning flight. Thanks for the great stay!

I have to say this was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal the villa was absolutely clean beautiful and everything we wanted. The host was extremely kind and proactive and had great communication. I even messaged her asking for recommendations of malls due to a luggage delay and she gave me a bunch of great ones. By far I couldn’t recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a beautiful villa with a great host you’re at the right place!

Posto meraviglioso , come sentirsi a casa , gli appartamenti sono accessoriati di tutto , anche delle prime cose basilari per cucinare , al nostro arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare biscotti acqua e formaggio e ci hanno fatto assaggiare il pane fatto in casa da loro , hanno un orto dove abbiamo potuto raccogliere pomodori freschi e fichi direttamente dall'albero , a disposizione anche ombrellone e piccole sdraio per la spiaggia . Ottimi i suggerimenti di Carla per visitare spiagge e ottimi i ristoranti consigliati .

This place was amazing. Enough room for all of our family. The apartment was well decorated and very clean. Rooms were excellent, beds comfortable and most importantly, AC working very well. Kitchen was a plus, super spacious and well equipped. We were right across the street from the beach and popular walking strip. Supermarket, atm, pharmacy, everything literally downstairs. We had restaurants all around us and they were all good. In addition, the hostess replied to our messages very quickly. I can’t wait to visit Portugal again and stay at this property. Pedro is an amazing host and is highly recommended as he is very responsive whenever you message him! He helped save our trip by letting us check in after 3am. Local recommendations are provided at the house, it has a very spacious common area, quiet and safe neighbourhood and amazing pool! Only downside is the women of our group think he is too attractive. 😂

The house has a very nice beachfront view and we enjoyed going to the beach and walking down the promenade everyday. Plenty of parking available and we felt very safe walking at night in the neighbourhood. We were there during off-season, so it was quiet, relaxing and there were no crowds anywhere. Our dog was even „allowed“ to run freely on the beach as it wasn’t peak season! This was a workation for me and as promised by Danielle, the internet connection was fast and stable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely place! Really good location. Close to the beach, restaurants but very quiet and peacfull. Great view on the river and fishetboats. Everything you can think of is present in kitchen, bathroom etc. Good host, easy check in. We loved it and will definitely be back in this beautiful house in lovely Ferragudo.

Bei all den vielen positiven Bewertungen hier kann ich mich nur anschließen und noch einmal betonen, wie toll diese Unterkunft ist! - Der Ausblick auf das Castle und die Hafeneinfahrt mit dem Fluß Arade von Balkon und Terrasse ist einfach umwerfend schön (schöner kann man eigentlich kaum sitzen!). Die Einrichtung der Villa ist authentisch und nicht hypermodern. Wir fanden sie insgesamt sehr stimmig, auch mit der Deko. Das Schlafzimmer mit Terrasse und dem Duschbad ist sehr geräumig und der Ausblick auch hier super schön. Das 2. Schlafzimmer ist etwas dunkel, da das große Fenster darin "nur" auf die kleine Terrasse vor dem Haus geht und hier nicht wirklich viel Licht reinfällt. Aber da wir uns außer zum Schlafen nicht lange in diesem Zimmer aufgehalten haben, hat uns das nicht gestört. Einziges Manko, dass in den Schränken eher wenig Platz ist, weil viele Decken etc. darin liegen. Das Haus an sich ist geräumig, der Wohn-/Essbereich groß und gemütlich. Für uns eine tolle Unterkunft!!

Eine super ausgestattete und schön eingerichtete Wohnung, in der nichts fehlte (außer vielleicht ein Backofen). Es gab ausreichend Geschirr, Handtücher und extra Decken. Klimaanlage funktionierte super, sollte nur nicht zusammen mit der Geschirrspülmaschine benutzt werden. Im Bad gab es neben der normalen Dusche auch eine Regenschauerdusche, die uns besonders gut gefallen hat. Wir würden diese Unterkunft sofort wieder buchen bzw. weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!
