House vacation rentals in Porter County

Our stay at the resort was SO wonderful! The house was even cuter and cozier than expected, and we felt at home right away. The outdoor shower was a dream. Everyone, including Sabine, was so welcoming and kind. We didn't want to leave!

This was a wonderful Airbnb. It was very clean and the decor was lovely. It was a short drive to Indiana Dunes State Park and restaurants in the area. Very convenient. We really enjoyed the heated pool and the dog friendly atmosphere. My dog loved the yard. Would 100% stay again if in the area.

Wonderful stay at Jill's glass house at the Lake o the Woods club! The house is full of amenities for a comfortable visit. Jill and her husband were friendly and helpful, and the club was welcoming. The house has great touches like hand-painted map of the club above the bed, a bluetooth stereo system, and interesting books. It was nice to have everything stocked for using the fireplace. If you're visiting LOTW for the first time like we did, read about it on the website and bring some towels! A couple sets of lightweight towels were perfect to have for sitting and toweling off.

A wonderful experience! The instructions for check in and check out were easy and clear. Loved the private yard for our dog and the cozy feeling around the property. Made our entire family feel welcomed when stepping through the door. Toiletries and other amenities were a nice touch. The drive to the beach was short and sweet, as well as a stroll downtown for some ice cream. Can't wait to stay again!

This place is stunning. It is a work of art. Stocked kitchen attached to a cozy den, beautiful dining and lounge area, super comfy king bed, and large bathtub. Michael was incredibly accommodating!

Host were super helpful. We loved That the place was big enough for the entire family and it had everything we needed. Really appreciated the use of the beach chairs and towels!!! Great House !

It was a Great place to stay at. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the area as well there was lots to do and the places we went to were fun. The house was amazing especially the living room and kitchen. The morning view in the kitchen was amazing and the living room was also amazing at night. Hayley was a great host as well as she responded quick to any questions we had. Overall me and my girlfriend loved the place and area and would 10/10 recommend this place to stay at.

Greg was an amazing host. He and his wife are clearly professional grandparents. The home was beautiful for our three generation family. The downstairs playroom was a life saver. The house was clean and well set up for guests. They wrote helpful notes and provided clear instructions. We cannot thank Greg enough for sharing his lovely home with us. We also loved the fairy garden in the trees and beautiful backyard. 10/10 recommend

We loved our stay at Jessica's place. The deck off the living room was the perfect place for relaxing with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. It felt like we were in a tree house. Lots of great, natural lighting on the main floor. We loved the sky lights and the back yard is woodsy, lovely, and private. We really enjoyed having campfires and creating lots of memories in the peaceful environment. The dining room perfectly fit our group of seven for dinners and games. We would definitely come back again. Being minutes away from Indiana National Dunes Park and the State Park was a treasure.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, well-organized, and had everything we needed. I really appreciated the thoughtful decor—it’s clear our host put a lot of care into making the space warm and inviting. Communication was smooth from start to finish, and the check-in and checkout process couldn’t have been easier. The location was easy to find with convenient parking, and the surrounding town was absolutely charming. We especially enjoyed our visit to the national dunes state park and exploring the downtown district. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough about Carol. When I reached out to her and asked if we could check-in early due to driving all night, she gave us permission so we could get in, get some rest and tend to my father's affairs (the main reason for the visit). Because of Carol's understanding and willingness to be flexible, we were able to get our rest and then tend to our family matters. We offered to give her extra and she wouldn't accept it. That shows me the true character of Carol and hope that anyone wanting to stay here understands how important it is to find people like that these days. The home had EVERYTHING we needed and then some and we'll reach out to her again for our next trip to the area! The foosball table and games on the enclosed back porch were a bonus (didn't see that when we signed up to stay) and my daughters loved having the chairs back there to sit and read their books while it was raining outside. The place was very clean. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the items in the kitchen including welcome snacks!

Our stay was amazing! We had a large group, and their home fit us very well. Jason communicated with us very well so that we knew what to expect in their slightly older home. There was so much charm though. Very close to Indiana Dunes, and a great park. They had all kinds of space inside and out on their property to play and enjoy company. Such a nice time!

My husband and I stayed for a quick weekend getaway when our other plans were cancelled - 10/10 would recommend and so happy we were able to find this gem! Brittany was super proactive in messages and helpful with how to check-in. We’re excited to have been the first guests so we could leave a review making everyone want to stay!! Super cute and quaint house close to a lake and the Indiana Dunes NP (15-20 mins away). We showed up around 8:30p and the lights for the sidewalk were motion sensors with lights on inside as well. Honestly we felt so at home and welcomed!! The kitchen is gorgeous and wonderful for cooking. The small touches also mean so much to us - extra chargers for each room, local coffee (which was delish), and amazing linens. I appreciate the size inclusive towel sheets as a mid-plus size gal. You can tell the owners put hard work and love into the house. We will be back and hope everyone reading this knows how perfect of a spot it is! 🙌🏼

Beautiful home and friendly host. Conveniently located right across the street from a park.

The host was extremely responsive and helped with early check-in and late checkout. So nice to have both of those so we didn’t feel rushed at all. Great pool table, super comfy couch to hang out and open area with so much kitchen space and even a super nice massage chair. Great Pickleball court and basketball. Hoop we were able to play on. Brought our own spike ball which plenty of room to use that. Overall 10 out of 10 would stay again and hopefully will. The space is amazing and comfy beds, pillows, and blankets. Also two grills to use in an outdoor seating area with an electric fire pit and a regular fire pit. Overall love the place and a nice casino one hour away. Just great spacious place with lots to do, had sand volleyball too! And they had basketball, football, pickle ball paddle, etc. everything needed was there!

Our family was in town for a wedding that had a reception at Journeyman Distillery...it was truly the perfect location. We enjoyed being able to walk to dinner in the square the night before. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of little extra touches through out the house. We had our grand-puppy along with us and was nice to be able to let him out in the backyard. We took our family picture for our Christmas card in the back as well. Wish we had more time to be able to enjoy the downtown area! Oh - and Phil receives an A+++ for communication!
