Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Portarlington

Thank you to our host Matt. We had a wonderful 3 nights/4 days. As described and pictured on Airbnb, the accommodation was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The position of the home was a short stroll to the main shopping strip and a great cafe for our morning coffees. We self catered and found the well appointed kitchen appliances to be modern and easy to use including an extra large fridge/freezer, coffee pod machine, easy to use oven and cook top. Bathrooms facilities were above average. Linen was soft and very high quality. There were so many extras supplied by the owner (while we didn’t use them, they would certainly be a bonus for anyone thinking of staying here e.g. baby cot and high chair, beach equipment, games, books etc). The TV and WiFi were excellent. The ability to bring our puppy knowing the backyard was spacious and fully fenced was an added bonus. A wonderful few days away to relax and enjoy a lovely little township.

Loretta’s place matched the description. She was great and answered all our questions during our stay!

Lovely house close to everything in Portarlington. Clean with everything you need for a few nights away. Nicole was very easy to deal with and was fine with us arriving early and leaving a bit later. Thanks for letting us stay Nicole. Great place in a great location.

Dixon Cottage is a lovely 3 bedroom holiday house that has everything you need to enjoy cold winter days relaxing with the family. The big open plan living/meals/kitchen area with wonderful for everyone to enjoy movies, games and meals together from a well appointed kitchen. It's just a short stroll to the Portarlington Main Street with its great cafes and gift stores with local artists craft and wear. We'll be looking out for it's availablity again for future visits to the Portarlington and the Bellarine Peninsula.

Booked this place last minute, The house was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we settled in well and was very responsive. Host was very considerate offering flexible check out also.

We had a great stay at Simon’s. It catered for the whole family with kids and dogs. Great location directly opposite the beach, undercover bbq area and kids playground. Big fenced backyard for the dogs and play equipment to entertain the kids. There’s a studio detached from the house which was perfect for a guest with sensory sensitives when peace and quiet was needed. Highly recommended.

We (2 couples) had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The place was comfortable- plenty of places to sit and relax, both inside and outside, and it was well-equipped. The location was perfect - close to Woolies, local shops and cafes. It was also a short drive to the wineries, which suited us as we had a family wedding at one of them. Ashleigh was a great host and quick to respond to any questions. She also kindly extended our stay, which meant we could enjoy a nice sleep in after the wedding celebrations. We will definitely be back again!

A beautiful clean well appointed holiday house with everything you need. Perfect if you have children and dogs. We found the main road in the front a bit noisy for sleeping. Otherwise a beautiful place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Cockatoo View! It was a beautiful space and offered a fantastic view!

Lovely interior as per photos. Nicely furnished and in a quiet street. Be mindful there are stairs and not much space to leave luggage at bottom of stairs

Swan Bay views was the perfect accommodation for our needs as a couple with a dog. It had everything we needed from a large secure backyard for the dog to a warm and cosy one bedroom apartment with high quality king size bed, fully equipped kitchen and laundry. We appreciated the extra touches on arrival with the lovely sourdough bread, lemon cake and home made jams, prewarmed rooms, instructions and local recommendations. It was a nice blend of B&B and AirBnB with the lovely provisions and well stocked kitchen and owners onsight but out of site. The location was a short walk to main street and a nice and quiet location with beautiful views of Swan bay to greet you each morning.

We had a change of plans last minute and had to look for a place with very short notice. Lucky Kerry’s place was available, Kerry has been super responsive and flexible with the check in. The place was easy to find, close to restaurants, shops and near the water. It was a lovely unit with simple layout, clean and comfy linen, spotless bathroom and a neat courtyard. I was shamelessly asking her if I could have a few lemongrass leaves from her pot to make tea, surprisingly she came back with great suggestions :P I would definitely be back again if I’m in QC. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay and great apartment. The location is excellent, with everything you need walking distance. Parking was great also though if you do bring a car. The apartment was perfect with everything you need there. Belinda was a great host, very friendly, incredibly easy to deal with and provided great little extras in the apartment. Already planning my next visit.

Nice, clean, quiet condo close to the waterfront. There is only one set of keys, which is something to consider if you are traveling with people that may want to come and go on different schedules.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Margaret's. No fuss check in, tidy, well equipped, close walk to the beach! Great value for money :)

Terri and Graeme were lovely hosts. Their studio was beautifully presented and appointed, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location is close to the beach, in a peaceful location, and easy personal access. Perfect for a couple. They were very communicative and helpful with suggestions. We would highly recommend their studio and hospitality!

I highly recommend this place for its style, location, and the host's responsiveness. The living area is enormous, beautifully styled, and it feeds to a spacious balcony. Despite it sitting above a cafe it's very peaceful and quiet. The location was perfect.

Scenic view from the apartment on the seafront. Comfortable well equipped and within 10 minute walk of a grocer and train station.

Lovely spot in Seaford. Back of the building complex so very quiet and peaceful. No noise from other residents. Easy walk to the shops of Seaford, either along the beach or along the creek. We did have issues with access through the front door which Sid tried to help with. We ended up just using the key to the back door for coming and going. Great space for a couple, 2 couples or a small family. Maybe a carton of milk for guests would be a nice touch of welcome.

Wonderful home way from home. The interior and design of the rooms are fantastic. Kristina is lovely and makes you feel very welcome as she is well informed about the area, sharing great suggestions on what to see and do. Very well equiped kitchen (blender, storage cans, herbs, oil for baking) and bathroom (perfect rain shower, lovely showergel, shampoo and conditioner, laundry detergent) Rooms can be made dark for good sleep. Location is very nice with a yoga studio in the same street and a beautiful area for jogging. Highly recommended!

The place is clean and felt just like home! Kih is a really friendly host! It's just above the M-City mall so you can get whatever you need easily.

The place was comfortable and cosy, easy to find and conveniently located. Karen was friendly and responsive, overall it is a lovely condo for anyone looking to stay in Mt Eliza for a few days.

From the moment you walk through the door of Julies Airbnb it was welcoming and cosy. The view from the balcony was great to wake up to and the location was central enough to be within walking distance to all the great cafes and shops. Highly recommended, Julie is a great host.

Claire is an amazing host. She went the extra mile to turn up the heating before we arrived and property was cosy and warm when we checked in. The house was more beautiful than photos and despite the gloomy rainy weather, we didn’t mind staying in to enjoy the property. Kitchen facilities were very complete and we could fix meals comfortably. Highly recommend :)
