An architecturally designed modern home on the Wild Atlantic Way, overlooking a wild bird sanctuary with an elevated bird hide at the bottom of the garden; binoculars and bird books in the library. The house is a short drive to Malinhead with its Northern Lights and its Star Wars' location and yet only 2 kms out from Malin Village. Two bicycles are provided, ridden at guests' own risk and the beautiful Five Fingers Strand is a short cycle or walk away. The hottub is also available for guests.

Set on a raised site on the side of a hill with magnificent views, this is the place to go to find peace. There are views of the sea and the surrounding countryside, and the beach is a 5 minute drive down the hill. It's been lovingly renovated to create a unique house which is tranquil, spacious and well equipped. The village itself has 3 lively pubs, a shop and a takeaway. Ireland's most northerly point is 20 minutes by car and there are numerous beaches and beautiful walks in the area.

The first thing that any visitors say is ‘that’s someview’, hence we named it SomeView. Up to four guests plus a baby can relax in a beautiful scenic area. Standing 600 feet above sea level with approximately 20 Donegal mountains in view. We are set in a quiet country road with easy 10 minute access to City of Derry airport and the city centre. It’s also only a short distance to some of Walkni’s recommended short walks - Ness Park, Beechill Woodland, Muff Glen to name a few.

Davenport’s cottage is a 200 year old self-catering farm cottage which has been fully restored and offers guests a countryside location with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere.
