This is a completely unique experience with a delightful, welcoming family. We were looked after so well and there is so much to do and the family can organise everything you need at local prices. There are not many places as untouched and unique as Tanna island and the opportunity to stay with a warm and friendly local family is unmatched by the foreign owned resorts across Vanuatu. You will have a cultural experience as well as enjoying the pristine landscape. Thank you thank you thank you to Joel, Phillip, Susan, Kiesa and all the family. We hope to return again one day and will definitely bring baby clothes and shoes for local people as gifts next time. Wishing you all the best on your new business. I miss the sound of the volcano beating through the jungle.

Our stay at Morsen's was amazing. He organized our airport transfer, the volcano and meals. The road to get to his house is just amazing. The view of the volcano from our room was beautiful. We were able to stay as long as we wanted at the volcano. Thank you very much Morsen for this stay that will remain engraved in our memories and those of our children!

Mike and Lina are beautiful persons. Lina prepared delicious dinners for us. Mike is always here to advice us. He came twice to the airport because our flight was delayed. The hut was exactly like on photos but without electricity and with lot of flies because of the cyclone. The place is wonderful with a great view on Mount Yasur. Mike booked some visits for us. It was wonderful. If you want to live an adventure in the nature and to forget the activity of big cities, please go there! 😉

Very unique experience staying at Tom’s place. Tom and his family responded to my enquiry fast and they were very friendly and nice from heart. They walked me to the volcano entrance and arranged the driver to drop me back and they helped me arrange the second sunrise volcano trip which is a worthy experience! The volcano view from the tree house is stunning too. The room is not that comfy but it’s manageable - better to bring own sheets & cover. In conclusion, I would recommend the place to someone looking to stay close to the volcano, wanting an affordable place and an unique experience.
