House vacation rentals in Port-en-Bessin-Huppain

We were pleasantly surprised by the little community there and especially the restaurant when we arrived rather late. Our hosts were very accommodating and pleasant. We would definitely rebook.

Je recommande à 100% ce logement. Céline notre hôte était réactive et très amicale. Toutes les instructions étaient claires et le logement conforme aux photos et à nos attentes. Très bien situé et très bien équipé, nous étions avec des enfants en bas âges, nous avions tout ce qu’il fallait. Merci beaucoup pour cette parenthèse normande dans ce très joli cadre.

Le gîte de Sylvie est paisible et chaleureux. La restauration de cette vieille maison est faite avec goût. La maison est spacieuse et confortable. Le jardin est agréable, paisible et peuplé de chats.

What a wonderfully peaceful place to stay. It was great sitting outside in the morning having a coffee listening to the birds singing and the church bells ringing. It was also nice to have access to the gardens with a swimming pool, tennis court and table tennis. We were holidaying to visit the various D-Day beaches and museums which were all within a short drive. The property is well appointed with everything you could need. Arnaud & Jessica were friendly and helpful and would respond to any questions within minutes.

We had the best stay and thoroughly enjoyed the local area and beyond. The Airbnb was fit for purpose and the kids loved the play area. The beds were comfortable and the area was tranquil. Chrystel was a great host and communicated well. Thanks Chrystel!

Our group of 7 50 something men really enjoyed our 5 day stay in Normandy. Charlotte met us on arrival and showed us around the extensive house and facilities. The house was great with a well equipped kitchen, great covered and heated pool, tennis court and more. We didn't manage to make use of the bikes or canoes that were also at our disposal. Bedrooms were clean with good beds. My only criticisms would be that there was only seating for 5 in the living room, toilets did not have basins, and the directions were not great - a what.3.words location would have been really helpful. Overall, it was a great place to stay and one of our group plans to return with their family later in the year.

Très belle propriété pour passer un super séjour en famille. Très bonne literie et très bons équipements et bel aménagement de la maison. La piscine a 28° était vraiment un plus. Cet endroit est vraiment à recommander et Delphine toujours très réactive. Cet endroit est à mi-chemin entre la ville et le port et tout peut se faire à pied. Enfin rien à redire sur notre long week-end, que du bonheur. Un grand merci à Delphine.

Fabulous stay! Host was very responsive and the house was great. Easy for exploring the Normandy sites! House was sparkling clean and the beds were super comfy! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a couple of nights at this lovely accommodation. Hosts very welcoming. Ideal location for visiting D Day beaches. Lovely breakfast each morning with homemade delicious cake. We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

Vi ble møtt av Françoise ved ankomst og vist til parkering rett utenfor huset i et rolig nabolag hvor bilen stod trygt under hele oppholdet(2 netter). Han hjalp til med kofferten min og viste oss leiligheten med instruksjoner. Vi fikk gode anbefalinger til vår plan om å besøke d-dags strendene og hvordan vi skulle legge opp ruten best mulig og hva vi kunne se bort ifra. Dette gjorde opplevelsen enda bedre da vi kunne følge planen uten store omveier og forvirring i havet av museer og d-dags severdigheter. Vi fikk også lokale anbefalinger på restauranter selv om tidene ikke passet med vårt skjema så skulle jeg ønske vi fikk besøkt de også. Dette får vi ha til en annen gang. Vi hadde alt vi behøvde av utstyr og te/kaffe, sukker,salt og syltetøy var tilgjengelig for gjester. Et hyggelig bakeri var det også like opp i gaten. Det var også kvalitets møbler og den beste Airbnb leiligheter vi har bodd i så langt. Utenfor kunne vi nyte en kopp kaffe og mat en deilig hage( et bord+to stoler).

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Plenty of space for everyone, with comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. We all felt very much at home and were sad to leave! This house is a 10/10 and we highly recommend staying here if in the area to see Omaha Beach, the American cemetery, and the beautiful French countryside. We hope to return!

Logement très propre, fonctionnel et bien équipé même pour un séjour avec de jeunes enfants. Port accessible à pieds en quelques minutes (7-8 min) et supermarché à quelques minutes à pieds aussi. Petit bémol sur le terrain qui n’est pas sécurisé pour les jeunes enfants mais ayant séjourné en novembre cela nous a pas impacté. la communication avec Hugo est très simple et réponse rapide.

Voor de 2de keer hier verbleven en het blijft een absoluut geweldig huis. Geweldig uitzicht waar je rustig de getijden van de zee kan zien komen en gaan in absolute rust. Ongeacht het weer is dit een fantastisch huis, bij mooi weer lekker op het terras en bij wat regen een blok hout in de kachel en lekker in de woonkamer verblijven.

Logement fonctionnel, propre et calme. Excellent emplacement pour la découverte des plages du débarquement (très proche des batteries de Longues). Très bon accueil, merci Claudie ! 😉

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Familienurlaub in diesem sehr schönen Haus. Alles ist vorhanden und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die beiden Bäder sollten sicher in absehbarer Zeit überholt werden, dies hat dem Charme des Hauses aber nicht geschadet. Das Grundstück und der Garten sowie die Lage des Hauses in einem winzigen Ort ähnelm einen kleinen Paradies. Bis Port en Bessin ist es nur ein kurzer Weg, der Ort mit seinem Hafen ist schön. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter und auch an den Wettergott, der uns eine Woche Frankreich im Sonnenschein geschenkt hat.

Es war eine absolute Freude, bei Robin zu wohnen! Wir waren 3 Familien und jeder hatte sein Reich Von Anfang bis Ende war die Kommunikation hervorragend und er war unglaublich hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass Robin Duschmatten für uns besorgt hat – eine kleine Geste, die aber zeigt, wie aufmerksam er ist und wie wichtig ihm der Komfort der Gäste ist. Wir haben uns dank der freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Art von Robin sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Wir können diese Unterkunft und Robin als Gastgeber uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

We were warmly greeted by co host Laure who spoke better English than I spoke French! The house was very roomy and light with a large patio door, the views were great, you could virtually see the whole of the former Mullbury harbour area, I was often on the balcony with my binoculars looking at the remains at various states of tide and weather. Although most nights we chose to walk 10 min to nearby many restaurants, the time we did eat indoors, we found everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped, everything you would need for home cooking and a longer stay. There was good off street parking in a quiet street. Overall it was a lovey place to stay and I would love to go back.

We enjoyed staying at the Farmhouse of which returning to the pool after a busy day out was a favourite of our teens. nice and clean with all that you need to self cater provided. good bed linen, towels and robes supplied. The village is outside of Caen , there are no amenities within the small village and we decided to eat out during our days out and could easily cook in the evenings with supermarkets within driving distance. A quiet and quaint village in the Normandy Countryside with the main towns and D Day Beaches a easy drive on good roads.

Maison très agréable et très bien équipée pour passer un bon week-end. Le jardin et la grande terrasse permettent d'avoir de l'espace aussi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants. La salle de jeux est vraiment très appréciable lorsqu'on a des enfants de 3 à 8 ans. Je recommande cette location qui en plus est proche (environ 15 mns en voiture) des sites tels que le cimetière américain, arromanches, les plages du débarquement...

Amazing place to stay, lovely owner and beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Relatively close to a lot of touristic sites if you are by car. Would love to stay another time, we enjoyed our time here so much!

Nous avons passé un séjour hors du temps. Le logement est extrêmement qualitatif, avec des prestations haut-de-gamme et tout le nécessaire pour quelques jours. Les hôtes sont très réactifs et accueillants. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
