Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Port Douglas

Florien was extremely welcoming, right down to having ice blocks for my three children in the freezer and water in a bowl for my dog. He was very responsive when I had to text as I couldn’t work out the bbq. He maintained the property in a very unintrusuve and respectful way. Pool was immaculate and very much enjoyed by my children. Quiet and safe location. Loved my 5 week stay there. Highly recommend.

Perfect location, close to so many excellent cafes, eateries and amenities. Backyard and pool a perfect oasis after a day out and about. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need, couldn’t ask for more in the accommodation, we loved it, would happily return and felt so at home we could live there!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lilah Blue, this place was a dream! So peaceful, relaxing and private. My family loved the rainforest views, spotting butterflies, listening to birds and playing some of the board games in the house at night. We had everything we needed and Ruth was very helpful and responsive. We will come back again.

We had an amazing visit here even with the bad weather. Pool, kids toys, kids archery set (sticky end), plenty of games and books to keep you occupied. Amazing house, extremely clean, cosy and comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone travelling and is pet friendly.

Absolutely fantastic accommodation at port Douglas! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the home was perfect in every way. It has everything you could possibly need, Kay was prompt and helpful in all correspondence. We absolutely loved our stay in Edge Hill. The house was beautiful. The pool was refreshing. It’s very close to wonderful restaurants. Our children and parents were extremely comfortable. The hosts were great and responsive, and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend!

Great location, right near the shopping centre. Easy stroll down to the waterfront and restaurants/bars. Great spot for a family get together, which was what we did

This is a 10 star Airbnb with a 10 star host! First of all the location is so peaceful and beautiful. The expansive views of the rainforest and the tranquil sounds of the birds are amazing. The infinity pool with the Bean bags to float on lets you truly enjoy this beauty. We saw the sunrise each morning and it was stunning. We also viewed the stars at the middle of the night and got terrific views of the Milky Way from house. We did not eat out at all as being in the house at the end of the day was so wonderful. For traveling around the area we truly enjoyed the Dreamtime walk at the Mossman Gorge and of course the drives around the Daintree. Claire was one of the best Airbnb hosts. She was very helpful and so responsive and kind! Overall such a magical stay!

It was a great stay for a larger group. Never thought it would be this easy to handle . They were really nice and friendly. Five star ⭐️ for their hospitality and quality service.

The private, very comfortable and spacious property was ideal for our family. Close to town (a good healthy short walk) and peaceful surrounding made for a perfect break. Spectacular views and such a beautiful and peaceful location. One of our absolute favourite places to stay, we love it here.

In the 8 years I have been using Airbnb this was by far my best experience ever. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures online. Lisa was an amazing host. Always willing to help and super flexible. We are so grateful for our stay here. The house was so clean and cosy. The kitchen had all the necessary tools. The house was spacious and luminous. The pool is amazing to relax and offers enough space in the shade to read a book. We also loved the fact that the house was so close to the beach. Ideal to run in the morning or do a nice walk along the coast. The perfect house if you want a nice getaway with your family or a group of friends. Would 100% recommend and if we ever come back we will surely stay here. Once again, thank you Lisa from the whole family. ❤️

We spent 10 nights here and were sad to say goodbye. The house is nicely decorated with a working record player! We appreciated the house providing tv entertainment, fully equipped clean updated kitchen, fast internet connection, and comfortable beds and pillows. Those are the things we miss most from home and staying here was just like home. Besides the shower pressure favorite part of the house was the serene backyard setting. It was peaceful, private and comfortable being out there. We spent a few days riding the bikes along the ocean path. This place had everything and was perfect.

Lovely cottage. Location is perfect - beach, walks & restaurants all within walking distance.

We had a beautiful two days at Mary’s place. It’s an absolutely stunning location, so peaceful and serene. Mary has thought of everything to make sure your stay is relaxing and wonderful. The outdoor kitchen is excellent, and we loved the outdoor living - we spent almost all our time out there on the deck snuggled on the couch or sitting on the grass! We fed the horses and chickens, enjoyed the view, and the lovely food provided by Mary when we arrived, and the peace and quiet. Mary and Lili are wonderful hosts, very kind and friendly, but also mindful of guest privacy. We were lucky enough to have cuddles with Diesel and Molly the dogs! There’s excellent walking trails and parks around the area, and the evenings are stunning looking at the mountains and listening to the animals. The beds are super comfy and the shower is excellent. It was just what we needed to unwind and relax before heading home. We will definitely be back to Mary’s place next time we come to Cairns!

One word - amazing! I’ve been using Airbnb for nearly 10 years and this is definitely one of my favourite places. So comfy and quiet and relaxing. The location and communication is top notch! It’s very well stocked with amenities, sooo clean and tidy and the ocean decor and colour scheme and natural lighting is exquisite. Tania & Sandra really go above and beyond for their guests and it shows throughout the entire home and stay. Highly recommend (:

Linda helped us with every question we had and the instructions were very clear and simple. The apartment was clean and really nice. We would definitely go back and we had a wonderful time there!

Kate has a lovely place and a quick 30 min drive from the city as well as Hartley’s. We enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon.

A modern, clean and comfy home in a quiet neighbourhood in Kuranda. Was perfect for a week over Christmas as we could easily shop for supplies in the village and visit family on the tablelands. After a day out and about we appreciated relaxing on the back deck in the garden, the airconditioned living area and fans in the bedrooms. The comfy queen beds deserve a special mention, as does Eva’s fast response to queries.
