Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Port Alfred

Thank you Liana & Shane, wonderful hosts. Such a peaceful, relaxing place to stay, it was perfect for us.

This was our second stay at this wonderful beach house and it lived up to our high expectations from the first stay. The house is the perfect place to spend time with family, with the spectacular view from the patio a highlight - we were even treated to a rainbow on our last morning. Fantastic location walking distance to some of the most beautiful and untouched beaches in the world and great restaurants. Jessica is a very helpful and responsive host, and Sweetness and Peter work magic to make the stay relaxing.

Very nice landlord, was on site on arrival and always available. The view and location of the house is unbeatable. The house and furnishings are outdated but have their own flair. We felt comfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gail and Rod’s place. The cottage was very homely and spacious, with the most beautiful views. The hosts were very friendly! We would recommend this place 100%. You will not be disappointed.

A well equipped and nicely furnished house with good outdoor space too; a pretty garden and braai area with hot tub and balcony with great views. Modern appliances in the kitchen and we especially loved the ice maker! Close to the centre and easy walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Peaceful area but with permanent residents too and felt very safe. A very ‘usable’ house with plenty of space for six and more if you have friends over. Host Simon was responsive and helpful, caretaker Genevieve who lives just opposite was fabulous, so helpful and gave us peace of mind as foreigners that there was someone there to call on if in need. Kathleen the housekeeper and Masi the gardener were also lovely and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Great farm house experience just 30 minutes outside of Grahamstown. The hot tub and the swimming pool made the place! Upon arrival - we were super surprised to be greeted by two friendly women - Nomfusi and Bongi - who had a fire started and served us with warm Roosterbread. Was such a lovely touch! And we didn't realize it but they basically 'came with the place' so they cleaned up after us at meals the entire weekend. Which was awesome (obviously we tipped them and thanked them a lot) things to do : we spent the most time in the pool and hot tub, playing in the garden and generally making food and lounging around. If you willing you can take the 15 minute drive on the bumpy gravel road and get to a great little river spot - with kayaks that you can use. We chilled there for the morning and it was great (although we nearly got stuck in the mud- we persevered and drove through!). Chloe was awesome - very responsive and always quick to reply Great stay!

Shirley was an absolutely amazing host- she went out of her way to help us on extremely short notice ! The house was without a doubt one of the best in Kasouga- fantastic views of the estuary and the sea and lovely deck to enjoy them from. Bedrooms were spacious and clean- two separate lounges provided lots of space. A lovely garden for kids to play in and a super well equipped kitchen! I would definitely stay here again!

Felicity was an awesome host. From booking, she was flexible to our late arrival. She gave us a tour explaining where everything was. She responded asap to any queries or comments. Check out was just as peaceful as checking in. My family loved her home and just the peaceful beach ambiance of it all. Definitely one of our faves. Thanks Felicity, You Rock!!
