B&B River Roost private room ''Mary'' .

River Roost has three B&B en-suite rooms in a private house with private entrances. Meals will be provided by arrangement. We are situated in a two hectare garden on the Bushmans river. Birders will be able to enjoy forest, coastal and river birds. Fishermen will be able to cast a line into the tidal river. There is enough space for our guests to be private, but we like to offer a family experience. Down by the Bushmans river we also offer a self-catering 2 bedroom river cottage.

Alistair House - Homely and close to the sea!

Alistair House is almost on the beach! No driving needed to get to the beach. This is ideal for families that wants to relax on the beach. Long walks are possible with a interesting hiking trail. Boat cruises are a must with a visit to many game reserves. Addo Elephant Park is also in the area.. Boknes and Kenton-on-sea have great beaches too. Alistair House even caters for the babies in the family. Come rest your souls in this homely house close to the sea.

Figtrees Functions - The Den

We are situated on the R67, halfway between Makhanda (Grahamstown) and Port Alfred, about 15 km from quaint and quirky Bathurst. We are a little island of a 3.6 hectare life-style property, nestled within a larger, electric-fenced, game farm. There are game drive and walking opportunities, at a minimal extra cost, at the neighboring game farm. We have a variety of bird species that frequent our massive figtrees, and you can fall asleep to jackals calling at night!
