Stayed a two nights in this gorgeous, peaceful and safe house. Amazing interior just like the photos. Felt right at home. Wifi was great! Janet was exceptional with any questions we had before and after the booking. Her dog was adorable, welcoming us with a hello in his language, so cute. Thank you so much for letting us stay! Home away from home, much needed! Definitely, we'll be back!

Lovely wee cottage with a 5 star view out to Kapiti island. We had a super relaxing Easter weekend, swimming. walking the dog, biking and enjoying the many sets to eat around the area. Be warned that the driveway is pretty steep but the view from the deck makes it well worth it.

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

The perfect set up in the perfect location, beautifully decorated. The bed was especially comfy, peaceful sleep! A lovely open plan kitchen with tea and coffee. Felt extremely homely. At the beach an amazing sunset. Irene were friendly and helpful. Thank you. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our stay, lovely kiwi bach feel. And it was so close to the beach!, just a few steps! We loved the beach view from the window, and enjoyed walking along the beach to get to the nearby cafes. Would definitely stay again, and would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing beach break.

The Sea Glass Cottage was downright amazing. A beautiful location right along the coast. We spent most of our time on the spacious patio overlooking the water, with a second patio on the second floor also with a water view. The cottage came with every amenity you could want and was clean and tidy. Located on a quiet street with free parking close by. A short 2 minute walk to some lovely cafes and beach. Petra was super friendly and responsive. We would love to stay at the cottage again and highly recommend it.

This house was excellent for our extended family gathering – the kids loved the table tennis room, the oldies loved the view, and we all loved the direct access to the beach. Thank you, Jill, – your communications were great, the house was spotless, the beds were super and the setting made this a gathering we will all remember, even though it was for Great Grandma’s funeral.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable space. Loved the sound of the waves and fresh sea air. Just make sure you are prepared to eat out at one of the cafes or restaurants or take food that does not need cooking unless you can use a microwave. Either way this place was a treasure and I’d happily stay again!

This lady is an amazing soul, we felt very welcomed by her and her husband. Also really Amazing views I took my girlfriends with me and it honestly felt like a sleep over with the way it was set up . We all had so much fun and could all see each other and talk to one another before heading off too bed 😊 she even offered to help us when needed which cherry didn’t have too but we are very appreciative that she did. Highly recommend this place. Definitely will go back again one day. Thanks cherry for being a great host ❤️

This house is exactly as described in the listing. What the pictures and description can't convey, is the sense of complete contentment, relaxation and rejuvenation this home gives it guests. The ambience must be experienced to be understood. Waves constantly break (or lap gently) on the beautiful beach across the road in front of the house, the birds sing at dawn from the canopy of native trees on the slope behind the house. FIshermen, with their day boats launch from the slipway opposite and return smiling with their catch - and will GIVE you freshly caught fish in return for a friendly greeting. Elderly couples stroll by occasionally walking their dogs. Children are sometimes heard squealing with surprise as they wade into the cold water. Everyone is smiling, friendly but never forward or intrusive. Really, it's just a heavenly place to spend time. Authentic, unpretentious but with all amenities, mod-cons and equipment needed to make the stay unforgettable. A treasured Find !

Beautiful location and amazing accommodation. The Domes are unique and beautifully set up. Lots of special details. The view is simply spectacular.
