Monthly Rentals in Pootatuck State Forest

The place was really nice and the host was great! Don’t get discouraged if the power goes out during your stay cause apparently that’ll happen 2-4 times a year according to the host. Other than that I highly recommend

Our stay was fantastic. Traveling with two toddlers, we're always looking for ways to keep them entertained, and there was a plethora of puzzles, games, and toys at the house. The house itself is well maintained and spacious. The community is wonderful with a sandy beach and waterfront playground. The golf cart was an added bonus!

Don’s AirBnB was exactly as advertised. Pristine bathroom: plenty of storage space great toiletries and towels. The water pressure was awesome. The king size bed was wonderfully comfortable. The night stands on either side had lamps and plenty of plugs. The kitchenette has all you need for light cooking if you are inclined. I also noticed an outdoor grill. We enjoyed just sitting out on the porch. I heard a barred owl while we were sitting out on the porch. Don is very responsive and returns texts promptly. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely stay here.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for a week in New Fairfield. This little studio was just the ticket! Skylights and white curtains make it airy and bright. Shades on all the windows give you complete privacy or open up to lovely lake views. Good wifi, lots of outlets, and three good work surfaces made our telecommute easy. Super comfortable bed. We didn't use the kitchen for anything more than heating leftovers, but it seemed well appointed. Have already recommended this gem to friends and will undoubtedly stay again. 👍👍👍😁
