It was a great weekend trip for our family. The forest view was very peaceful and private. Tour of farm was awesome and goat milking made it extra fun. We look forward to go back soon 😊 FYI, We stayed in end of Nov and heat wasn’t warm enough. If you plan to go in cold weather make sure you gear up!

Ami’s place in Manteno is like having your own little one story duplex to call home for however long you’re in need of a comfy comfy place to stay. I immediately felt at home, not only in her home but in all of my communications with both Ami and Steve. It’s apparent how important the comfort, cleanliness, and safety of their guests accommodations are. They were super helpful with local recommendations on more than one occasion. Very responsive and very friendly. Their little one story end unit on a small a cul-de-sac had every creature comfort and then some. And it’s within walking distance to downtown Manteno which is friendly and charming as well. Highly recommended!

Kim’s home was pristine! The place is beautifully decorated and the shower is exquisite and spa-like! Well furnished and equipped with kcups and syrups for coffee in the mornings, washer pods after a day of hiking, and body soap/shampoo in the shower! We traveled with our pup and the fenced yard with firepit and grill was perfect!! Centrally located to Starved Rock state park and Matthiesen state park! We enjoyed our days taking in all of the trails and sights! Easy access to Utica and Oglesby for dinner! We enjoyed Skoogs, Cortelinos, Rootbeer stand, and Bruce and Ollies! We loved our stay and we cannot wait to come back and stay again in the future!

Maria’s place was great! Easy access to the Airbnb & the yard was a bonus for our two dogs. Lots of little touches that made the stay pleasant; coffee, water, snacks were all appreciated. The bed was very comfortable too! I would definitely stay again when in the area.

Nicely kept and clean home in a quiet neighborhood. Appreciated the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for our stay with 4 adults and a child. Would consider staying here again when in Champaign!

Millpoint Cove a Serene Waterfront cottage

We were in town for a few days for some high school baseball games and to visit ISU and Bradley. Even though we were gone most of the day, it was SO nice coming back to Annabelle's in the evenings to unwind and relax. It's a beautiful cottage on the water that was clean, roomy, and full of amenities. Annabelle was friendly and accommodating even though nothing went wrong and everything in the cottage was better than described. The area was quiet and the view was INCREDIBLE. Even saw a bald and golden eagle outside in the early morning hours (and found binoculars too).

The River House is a real treat. We loved our stay there and Rhiannon was a very responsive and friendly host. We had everything we needed and being right on the Kankakee River was a bonus. The decor in the house is really cute and stylish. The beds were comfy and the shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. We felt right at home.

Amazing house, great views, great communication with owner, and overall great experience! It does technically fit 10 people but that’s assuming that 8 people have to share a bed with someone else which was less than ideal for our group but could be totally someone else could be looking for. Definitely 5/5 stars and would not change a thing about our experience!
