A large quiet house for a dozen guests. The lounge with pool table and foosball are a real plus. No complaints, I'll be back in summer to enjoy the pool!

A nice relaxing time after a long motorcycle ride. Pool, fountain, lights, nice and well arranged natural space. a much-appreciated breakfast to start the day. i recommend it.

We had a wonderful few days here. Great location for our nearby friends house. Swimming pool and sunbeds were fabulous. The house was spotless and very easy to move into and feel right at home. Supermarket very nearby with everything you could need. Felt very private and quiet...hopefully we will stay here again!

Very good communication before our arrival. We arrived very late, our host had left a light so that we could find our way around without any problems. We only spent one night but it was perfect. Listing is as described, cozy, and tastefully decorated. We were able to enjoy the sunny terrace in the morning to have a coffee. We'll be happy to go back

The accommodation is very nice, well arranged and tastefully decorated. Everything you need is available, with real attention to detail. The terrace, with its table and loungers, is also a real plus! The only small downside: the tenants downstairs are quite noisy.

Melanie's place was really lovely. It was spotlessly clean and very stylish. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you might need. Melanie communicated quickly and clearly. It is a great base to explore Cognac and surrounding areas. Plenty of walks along the beautiful Charente River and a visit to the Hennessey Cognac Visitor Centre is well worth the effort.

Lovely spot with rolling hills and idyllic views. The accommodation was perfect for what we needed and cosy warm once we got home from our travels around the countryside. All very tastefully done, will be recommending!

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

What a beautiful home and a fabulous pool , many an evening was spent around it , we were totally relaxed after our stay and would highly recommend Our hosts were really accommodating and vet helpful and at the end of a message and were quick to respond . The area was lovely with fields around and easy to travel to different locations A fabulous family holiday was had by us all

The house is very welcoming and in the countryside, it allows you to enjoy the land. The village center with shops is close. It is a good distance to travel between Royan, Cognac and Pons.

Excellent welcome, clear and simple instructions. Perfect. The spaces are well thought out and very large. The accommodation is very well located, very well equipped and very clean. You will definitely have a good time at Aurelien's, I would recommend it.
