We had two great nights at Green Wood's. From the first second, the sweet hosts greeted us with smiles and laughter, they made us feel at home and welcome from the start. The room was spacious and clean, in addition there was a lovely terrace where you could enjoy a cup of tea or other in the quiet and beautiful surroundings. Green Wood is located among trees and without noise from the road, but at the same time in walking distance from everything relevant in the area, so the location could not be better. Last but not least, our host cooked the most amazing homemade Sri Lankan food for us, both breakfast and dinner were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for infecting us with your laughs, smiles, and positive energy.

You will get many surprises if you choose this house. When we get up and open the door in the morning, a big lizard lying on the stone which is beside the house, a peacock come up suddenly, the little cat which acts like a dog is waiting for us in front of the door. We had a wonderful stay at moksha! The staff was very friendly. The food very good at soul food restaurant, lots of healthy choices and I can only recommend the cappuccino with coconut milk! The best part is the stunning view to Lions rock, even from the room

We had two nights in this beautiful place. The hosts are very friendly and flexible. You can also Rent a scooter for daytrips which is great. I recommend trying the awesome breakfast and Dinner. A very nice family and hosts.

Affordable place to stay in Polonnaruwa. Friendly and Responsive Host.

Sumanasiri is an excellent host. He's very welcoming, friendly and helpful. He arranged a guide for a bicycle tour of the ancient city, cooked our breakfast and dinner and drove us to Kandy at the end of our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable and well located; walking distance to the lake and a short cycle ride to the ancient city.

We had a great time at Sumanasiris house with our two kids. Everything was perfectly clean and thoughtfully set up (bottled water, mosquito nets…). Sumanasiri was a great host. He rented us bikes and had lots of tips for activities and offered to drive us. He was also super flexible with providing meals. On one occasion we accidentally caused a mess. Even though it was completely our fault Sumanasiri offered us a different room without hesitation.

We highly recommend staying with Salinda and his family, they are very friendly and helpful, they offered us a very good breakfast and dinner, they provided equipment to wash clothes after safari, which in the way they organize at a good price, so I recommend using the service. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning worked flawlessly.
