House vacation rentals in Polk County

This was truly a peaceful place! Everything was as described and there were so many personalized touches that made this property unique - there was a welcome basket including items made in Georgia, smores kits/wood, detailed information on the property, recommendations in the area, and many ammenities (pantry/kitchen, bathroom, and laundry items that make for an easy stay)! We enjoyed watching our neighbors - their cows - grazing in the pasture every day! The scenery is so beautiful and peaceful. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again. Great place to relax and recharge!

The place is absolutely stunning. The sunroom was our favorite. It was the perfect place to get everyone together and have fun!

This house has everything you need for a getaway. We stayed on the decks more than in the house. The furniture outside has been upgraded since the photos on the listing. Kitchen was spotless and had everything I need to cook for my family. I will be back. There are 125 steps to get to the water. I knew it would be a trek, so it didn’t bother me. But, just a heads up if you aren’t able to climb that many steps. All of the houses are like that.

Great place to stay while attending a wedding at Howe Farms. Had everything we needed!

Our stay was beyond enjoyable. The house was so beautiful and the amenities were ideal for our stay. The fireplace kept us cozy and warm. My favorite amenity was the workout area just down the street. I worked out every morning and the equipment options kept me busy. The view from each room just gorgeous. We will absolutely be coming back. The area has great restaurant options in all directions and there is also a mountain hike to the highest elevation in GA where you can see multiple states from the top. It’s a great place for a couple get away or for a small family to enjoy the mountain air and small town feel.

Perfect location for our annual trout fishing trip.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin. It was so nice to get away from reality for a few days and enjoy real time with the family! We loved exploring the small towns and spending the afternoons just relaxing as a family at the cabin. We hope to visit again in the near future!

Kathi was an amazing host! Upon arriving and checking in she gave us fresh eggs! The place was very comfortable and had everything you could need for your trip. The perfect home away from home. The amenities were amazing we used the kayaks and pickleball and the hot tub. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you so much!

This was the perfect place for our stay. We are moving to the area and needed a place to stay transitional and this worked perfect. Great place, roomy and comfortable and private. Liked it so much we extended our stay by 2 more weeks.

Beautiful place for a getaway. Plenty of options for settings of gathering; inside porch, outside porch, kitchen, dining room, gym, pool table area. Great for having a little one high chair, toys, baby gate for stairs. Says 2 bathrooms but there are 3 showers, 3 sinks so helpful if everyone needing to get ready at same time and rushed. Rooms have individual outside the door keypad locks so could be nice for a co-worker retreat if people arent exactly super trusting and want to keep theor belongings locked up.

Great spot for a quick visit to the area. The home had great amenities and Bryan & Erica were very accommodating and communication was great. Would highly recommend!

It is a quiet place, and away from the craziness of the day to day. We stayed here so we could go white water kayaking in the Ocoee and even got to visit the Hiwassee. It was a nice trip, and the environment at this place was perfect. I loved the kitchen and all the provided stuff that you could use. We arrived and noticed the deck immediately which is why we wanted to stay here, out of the other listed places. My son was out fishing from the deck every single morning, and would do some night fishing too. We caught a catfish, some bass, and some bluegill right off the deck! Inside the house was a binder that had some details about the place. There was a section in the back that allowed you to share via pen or pencil, about your stay. I was so excited to journal some, but there wasn’t any extra papers. I loved reading about other peoples fun experiences.

Rob is a great host! Rob was very accommodating and responsive. Howard’s Pond is wonderful. It is rural and peaceful. Everything worked as it should and clean. If and when we’re back in the area we’re sure to look for availability at Howard’s Pond. We appreciate the hospitality Rob!

It was a nice location away from the loud roads. The place was very clean and an open concept home. It was an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful place. No where to eat and everything closed early. But, lovely home that’s beautifully decorated with gorgeous hydrangeas near the driveway.

Can't say enough good things about our stay at the house! Great space, beautiful outdoor area and fire pit & love the view of the river. We had an issue (nothing with the house) & the caretaker and owner were so thoughtful and kind to our family. We would love to come back and stay!

This was a lovely home and we all felt very comfortable. The bathrooms were updated and had good water pressure with plenty of hot water. While the living room wasn’t huge it was perfect for our group and we enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen/living room space.

Looking online, it's always hard to be sure if what we are booking looks as good as the pictures. In this case, the house was even better. Nothing could be improved upon. The house is beautifully decorated, the beds were so comfortable and the setting would be hard to beat. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook a gourmet meal. The house is larger than I expected and we all had plenty of room to relax. I cannot recommend staying with Douglas and Carol enough. If you are considering staying in the Delano/Benton area, the Hiwassee Riverside Retreat needs to be at the top of your list.
