Highly recommend if you’re looking for a home away from home, in a central but quiet location. Exactly as described. The house was lovely, with a private enclosed garden. My son and our pet dog had a great time! There was parking on the street right outside the property and also a drive way. Board games to play, and we really appreciated the tea or coffee on arrival with fresh milk too. Mark was a perfect host, and really saved the day for us and was on hand immediately if we needed assistance. We have family that live nearby, so would love to come back again in the future. Thank you so much for a perfect stay!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this cottage for my 50th birthday. It was one of the most unique places we’ve ever been (and we’ve travelled a lot); it was in the perfect location to see the water, take lovely walks, and soak in the tub. It was clean, comfortable, had lots of space, and there were so many fun games for the children to play (ours are all tweens/teens and they weren’t a single bit bored). The back garden is a little sun trap, perfect for afternoon teas. Highly recommend booking this house! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A lovely little house with everything needed for a home away from home. Situated in a quiet residential area within easy walking distance of the seafront and town centre. Beautifully decorated with a cosy relaxing vibe a lovely place to stay.

The house was perfect with plenty of space for the family. Great communication from Michelle. I had a few questions and everything was responded to with clear instructions. Lovely village feel to the immediate area.

We’ve stayed here before and keep coming back—it’s perfect for our group of friends with toddlers. One of my all-time favourite weekend getaways for a larger group. The kitchen and music/playroom are fantastic, and having all bedrooms ensuite is a huge plus!

This house is absolutely beautiful, so characterful and charming with the most gorgeous grounds and gardens. Jo was an amazing host and so helpful in advance of our trip, providing lots of tips and ideas for things to do in the area. We were 3 families with small children and she provided 2 travel cots and 3 high chairs - brilliant! We will definitely be coming back. The children fed the alpacas, ducks and chickens and played all weekend in the glorious garden.

Cottage exactly as described cosy, comfortable and very convenient for parking, shops and wonderful walks. Johanna provided excellent and very useful information re walking routes and good eating! Perfect location for keen walkers wanting level and safe walking routes!

Clean, brighf,restful and perfect for a family of 3 plus dog. We love the history of the place and its character, as well as the view. Beds really comfortable which is a big win from us

We had a lovely time staying in Horkesley Hall! A little oasis, with a lovely garden to explore. Polly shared some good recommendations and the Airbnb itself was enjoyable to spend time in.

My family enjoyed our little weekend break in this accommodation. Home from home. Nice corner plot with a lovely hot tub which kiddies really enjoyed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

Really lovely cabin at the bottom of Gemmas garden, spacious but felt cosy and equally ideal for summer. We had a bbq and sat by the chimnea in the evening watching & listening to the owls, so quiet, not near any main rds etc. Also saw some muntjac deer & hares amongst the other wildlife nearby. Definitely recommend tea on the green in danbury for a breakfast, and Olios for a lovely dinner and drinks, both 10 mins away. We also booked a boat trip at papermill lock which was really nice.

Had a lovely 1 night stay here. Was a great little find in a peaceful location. The place was well-decorated, well-furnished and well-maintained. Maggie was very helpful and friendly. Will stay again if we're back in the area. Thanks!

We loved our stay at the Hideaway - comfortable, snug and in a great location to explore the River Orwell area and coastal path.

This was a multi purpose trip which included some R&R. The property met all our needs perfectly; it is spacious and really well equipped - beyond the usual. A real 'home from home'. Gorgeous garden. Lovely long weekend at Louie property very comfortable and dog friendly was a bonus! Bungalow was very spacious and fully equipped with everything you need plus lovely garden and seating area, close to all amenities and lovely dog walks, Louie was available at all times and full of great recommendations for restaurants etc will definitely be back!

Lovely stay it was easy to check in and only a few mins drive to the beach. We brought our dog and it was very peaceful wish we could have stayed longer

Quite simply the best Air b&b we have ever stayed in. I have OCD and I am very picky about staying in clean places, but my goodness this place is spotless! It feels like your own home, it’s so comfortable. It’s modern and finished to a very high standard, with everything you can think off. I would 100% stay here again. The area is excellent for getting around Suffolk and felt safe. Communication was easy and quick. I wish all Air b&b owners got it this right. Well done Neil!
