House vacation rentals in Point Chevalier

Stayed in 10 Airbnb locations in 14 days and this was the best experience we had- right location in the best area ; very well kept and clean home; clear instructions for checkin and even allowed a late checkout. We had a wonderful experience in Auckland- thanks to our place of stay!

We were in Riverhead for a family wedding. The location and facilities were spot on. Traveling to the event centre was easy and didn't take too long. The House and gardens gave a peaceful and welcoming vibe. Thank you for sharing it with us.

We had a wonderful stay at Lee's place. It was a lovely house, was very clean and had lots of space for all of us. The area was peaceful, safe and had wonderful views of the ocean. Lee and Joe were wonderful hosts. We appreciated their quick responses and helpful recommendations.

What a perfect place for my son and I to stay while he was recovering from a tonsillectomy. It was very comfortable. The beds were cozy. The big theatre screen was perfect and just the entertainment that was needed. We loved the view. The location was perfect as we wanted to be close to Karkariki Hospital. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

This Ponsonby villa was the perfect base for my Auckland trip. Spacious, stylish, and full of charm, it had everything I needed, an upgraded kitchen, plenty of fridge space, great espresso machine, and a beautiful courtyard with pool, loungers, and outdoor fireplace. The rainfall shower might be the star of the house, it was a luxury experience. The bedrooms were cozy and quiet, and the open-plan layout made it feel airy and relaxing. Just a short walk (about 2,000 steps) to Ponsonby Road, with amazing coffee and breakfast at Dizengoff. Amy was a responsive and thoughtful host, she quickly fixed a door lock issue, which made me feel safe and well cared for. The house blends old character with modern upgrades, which fits the Ponsonby vibe perfectly. Even the recycling system (with 5 bins!) was easy to adapt to. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Auckland!

Lisa’s house was as beautiful as the photos and very comfortable. It was super close to everything we needed for our little family and the heated outdoor pool was the best bit. The pool and the hot tub meant we didn’t need to find entertainment for our little one and on sunny days the outdoor area was bliss. Lisa provided lots of games, toys and books to read and we felt we had really gotten away from it all staying in this lovely home.

Cole's place is a stylish, spacious home with great living space and a beautiful outdoor patio/garden. The location is super. A short walk to Point Chevalier beach for swimming and less than 15 mins drive to the city centre. The jacuzzi is a bonus!

Leon’s place was super accessible to all the amenities of Mt Albert and wider Auckland. We were so impressed with his beautiful house!! It had all the right touches and was perfect for our group. Recommend highly for a large group going to Auckland.

Place was great for family reunion. Well equiped kitchen and good living room and dining space. Beds comfortable with nice linen and towels.

The Airbnb is in a very convenient location. To our surprise, the kitchen was fully equipped, making it perfect for our family’s long-term stay. When we checked in, the house was very clean and tidy, and Rau and Simone responded promptly and provided great help. Knowing that we had a baby, they even prepared a cot in advance—many thanks for that. There was also a washing machine and a dryer, which made our stay even more convenient. BTW, watching the sunset in the yard was very relaxing. If we have the opportunity to visit Auckland again in the future, we would love to stay here again.😊

Wonderful place - lovely to sit outside in the morning and listen to all the birds singing in the bush. Accommodation exactly as listed and everything in perfect condition. If you have young children just starting to walk, then do be mindful of the split level house and staircase.

Another great stay thank you Louise. The perfect location for our Riverhead Wedding Celebration. Light, fresh, clean and uncluttered. It was the perfect space for our bridal party. We highly recommend this accommodation and host.

This house was great! It is rural and peaceful which is exactly what we were after. The property was massive, our toddler enjoyed the big lawn and the neighbours pony’s. My husband loved the spa, the fact it’s on 24/7 just makes it so easy to want to quickly get in. The view of the township from the lounge was so nice. We utilised the bbq and outdoor deck a lot, except when it rained as it’s uncovered. As a fellow foodie I loved how stocked the kitchen was with utensils and kitchenware, it was nice to not be limited in an air BnB like you’d expect to be. All the cameras outside were a little creepy but we got over it eventually. The house has between 2-7 steps to get to every room, I probably wouldn’t recommend for any crawling or newly walking babies. Otherwise if you’re after a peaceful getaway I would highly recommend!

To say that Janene was a 5-star host is an understatement -- she would be better described as a personal CEO -- Chief Experience Officer! She has thought of everything that one might miss about their home and she has included those "creature comforts" as part of your "home away from home." (In fact, my wife ordered some of the same bed linens and pillows to enjoy at our home back in Texas!) Janene is super friendly, proactive and responsive, and always thinking about how to add value to your stay. Her recommendations regarding things to do and places to dine in the area were spot on. Piha is a favorite for mu wife and I, but being able to experience the atmosphere of The Little Louise's added another special element to this special place on earth. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

The house is in the perfect location, close to the beach and shops, nicely appointed, comfy and with great views. We actually endured the tail of an intensive storm and the entire area lost power for 36 hrs (obviously no fault of Jonny's). During this period Jonny, stayed in touch and offered his services and support where possible. Would highly recommend the house and Jonny and would certainly book again.

The house is in a very good conditions. The electronic appliances are very nice too. The host is very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ponsonby, the place was clean and very nicely updated and perfectly spacious for our two families. The location is just a short walk to the shops and eateries on the main street and was very quiet which was great for a good nights sleep. The property has 3 levels with rooms on each so it was a little bit challenging for the young kids and there were lots of decorative artefacts/homewares which was aesthetically very nice but again hard to manage with the kids. I look forward to staying again once the kids are a bit older.

We had a great stay in this beautiful small home. Nice and handy to the absolutely delicious Little Sicily restaurant in Onehunga, and to Cornwall Park parkrun and to the conference in Ellerslie that we were attending. Really handy having a washing machine and drier available too. We loved the beautiful attention to detail in this house.

Had a lovely stay at Kathy’s place. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, and really enjoyed the view from the dining area. Kathy was very helpful and kind. Weather had us changing plans but hope to come back in the future!
