Vacation rentals with a sauna in Pohjois-Lappi

The place was just perfect – very nicely furnished and with a lot of love for detail, you feel right at home. Everything was super clean and tidy. The sauna and pool were an absolute highlight. Kitchen was very well equipped! I would particularly like to highlight the communication with Kristiina: She always responded very quickly to messages and provided us with many great tips for excursions and activities in the area. The stay was pleasant all around – highly recommended! Thank you for the warm hospitality!

We spent a week with our two small children and had a wonderful time. The appartment was fantastic: clean, cozy, spacious, with a very big and well equipped kitchen, a good sauna, shoe dryer, books, toys and games for the children. Short distance to supermarket and city centre. Anna-Kaisa lent us two sledges and gave us a good advice where to go sledding (Jänkävaara). Furthermore she gave us a very good and detailed instruction in advance and responded very quickly to upcoming questions during our stay. We can highly recommend this place and would love to come again.

Very nice and cosy flat in the center of Ivalo. The appartment in fully equiped and close to the shops and hikes. Perfect location in the center but quiet. A plus for the inside balcony and the sauna in the appartment. Everything was perfect !! I recommend

Marti and Maria's cabin is a wonderful and cozy place. It is situated in the best location, right at the bottom of the slopes of Pyha ski resort and yet it feels quite secluded. You do have neighbors but you don't feel like you are in the middle of a busy bustling place but rather as if you are in a small quiet village. Everything you need - supermarket, restaurants and rental places are all within walking distance. The cabin itself is exactly as described and the fireplace and sauna were wonderful in the evenings. The host's recommendations were also very useful. We highly recommend this place, don't hesitate, it's really worth it. The only small downside is the cleaning that you need to do at the end of your stay, which includes hoovering the carpets and washing the floors. You can order a final cleaning but it is a bit pricey. However, from what we've seen, it is a common requirement in many places in Finland.

Pert's place was great for our family. Services within walking distance and ski trails too. Definitely worth the price.

The apartment was in a great location. Restaurants and ski trails were found right next door. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Virgine responded quickly to messages and made sure everything went smoothly. He gave us some great tips about activities and restaurants.

Really nice place close to town and ski slopes we really enjoyed our stay the the cabin. Think the beds should be made before guests arrive but doesn’t seem to happen maybe in Finland. Highly recommend this place

Excellent cozy little apartment in a quiet location near the center of Sodankylä. The kitchen in the apartment is exceptionally well-equipped, and the sauna was one of the best little saunas you've ever met. Communication with Lea and the onsite Mira was great and without delay. It was my first time in Sodankylä, and I loved it. I found a Reindeer Farm of Juhani Maijala nearby, where I filled my styrox bag for the needs of the next few weeks - considerably lower than trade prices. Since it's winter time and I was on my way to Levi's spring, I also searched and found ski terrains in Sodankylä: behind the garrison, a little from the military home (mess) ahead is the starting point for good 5 and 15 km of trails. I'll ask about this place if I come back to Sodankylä.

This place is an absolute pearl in Ivalo! It is clean, welcoming, decorated to fit the beautiful Lapland environment! The hostess is nice, and would do anything to make your stay enjoyable! I highly recommend it!

A compact apartment in a good location with everything you need for a visit.

We spent a few nights at Tuomas's listing at Saariselkä and had a wonderful time there. The cabin is cosy and has everything necessary for an enjoyable time there. We enjoyed the fireplace and sauna immensely. It is some way off the centre of Saariselkä, but it is very much walkable, as we did many times. The cabin is also close to cross-country ski tracks and a lovely Mettäbaari forest bar along that track that serves pancakes and coffee. The hosts were very responsive, and we received answers very quickly when we needed advice.

Great place, fast and easy check-in. The sauna is definitely a highlight and the beds are also very comfortable to sleep in. However, in my opinion, there is no Wi-Fi. Especially if you're there for a week like us, you need Internet 🛜 Otherwise, everything was really great 🥰

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

We spent 2 nights in Sanna's house and everything was perfect. Before you even arrived, communication with Sanna was very quick and easy. Her house is very nice, very well decorated and filled with little touches. The sauna is a real plus. This is the first time I've stayed with someone else and felt so good there. There are people who have a sense of service and Sanna is definitely one of them. I can only recommend, everything was just perfect.

a really spacious house, quiet, very comfortable beds, new appliances, lots of utensils and products to use, which could be the house where you live every day. The sauna is fantastic.

We thank Matti and Marita for the nice time in the house and will be very happy to come back. It was totally relaxing and we felt at home from the 1st second. The house is very cozy and warm, perfectly clean and the bathroom was newly renovated with foot underfloor heating and anything that makes it pleasant. The sauna was great. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The internet was very fast and is fast enough to work from there if you have to. We enjoyed the trip to the reindeer, the cross-country skis and recovered very well during long walks in the woods. The hosts were always approachable and totally helpful. It was very interesting and we learned a lot about Lapland and Finland. Thank you for everything and hopefully until soon!

We had an amazing stay in the cabin. Will remember it as a beautiful winter fairy tale! The house is very modern and convenient, everything well thought of and very clean. We really enjoyed the snow, sub-zero temperatures and using the sauna and the hot tub. The house is located in the wood surrounded with beautiful pine trees, with a hill and a river within a 2 min walk. Our kids loved this place too, while they were exploring Finnish winter. 10 min drive to Levi resort to enjoy skiing. Just a perfect holiday.

We stayed at Iras place for one week and we loved every second of it! We were surrounded by beautiful nature and could really calm down there! We totally can recommend staying there :)
