This is an absolute gem of a spot. Loved all the mahi put in to restore this beautiful building and the floor to ceiling vintage vibe. The outdoor bath under the stars on a chill April evening was also a winner.

If, like me, you want a peaceful and relaxing stay in quiet and beautiful surroundings, then this is YOUR place. Everything was perfect. And like amazing Kiwi hosts, milk in the fridge and friendly and helpful! The scenery is just beautiful here, the birdsong and river and trees…..what a place!

A wonderfully cozy cottage! What a great find! The cottage is comfortable, spacious and clean. I felt right at home. Dean and Annie were very friendly hosts, who took the time to chat with me and introduce me to their family and pets. I can highly recommend staying here :)

we highly recommend Sams property if exploring the Manawaru central plateau. we have had a very satisfying days adventure seeking out historic routes. Sams property is beautifully furnished, comfortably attire and we found a peaceful haven central to great foodie options. Thanks Sam
