Cottage vacation rentals in Podbořanský Rohozec

I booked this cabin two days before my trip with my dog after our original Airbnb canceled last minute. Adam and Jitka were very responsive and made sure the cabin was ready in time. The cabin is a bit harder to find, and the road leading there was a little bumpy. However, the surroundings are incredibly peaceful, and the cabin itself is much cozier than it looks in the pictures—the photos don't do it justice. I had to handle the heating myself (gathering wood and keeping the fireplace going) and pump water from a nearby well, which took some time to figure out since it was new to me, but Jitka explained everything clearly. My only real complaint is the bathroom situation, although I was informed about it beforehand. You have to step outside to access the bathroom, which is located below the cabin—this can feel scary at night, especially when you're staying alone. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay.

Super place! Quite private, lots of space, lovely bedrooms and living room, right at the beginning of some forest hiking trails and walking distance to ski lifts.

We liked the special house very much, the six of us were immediately in feel-good mode. We enjoyed the evenings very much after hiking by the fireplace in the large room. Kitchen and bedroom are exactly as shown in the pictures. We'll be happy to come back here.

The cottage stands in a quiet environment where you can easily observe the stars in the sky at night. Host Veronika always communicated promptly. There was also prepared wood and a stylish fire pit with a grill. The gazebo right next to the cottage provided us with facilities for PC work and relaxing during the day and evening. Parking is available right next to the cottage. Everything was cool. If you're looking for an escape from the city and peace of mind, we can only recommend.

Beautiful place with fireplace, cozy loft rooms, well-equipped kitchenette with dishwasher. Everything is clean and ready for our arrival. The house was heated, the wood for the fireplace was ready. Even though it was the first Christmas holiday, Miloš took the time to prepare everything for us. Thank you for a lovely winter stay! The place is secluded, but well accessible and the surrounding nature is beautiful. We would also use cross-country skiing in the meadows, but walking in the woods were also great.

We stayed at the cottage with our 2 children (6Y and 3Y). We loved the property. The children could play freely in the garden and also the swing and slide shared use. The house was also super sufficient for the 4 of us. The entrance up to the beds was not perfect as it was a roof staircase and at the top just then the open gap. We then put chairs in front of the gap that the kids don't fall down. But otherwise everything was really great and the kids also did a great job of climbing up and down. The landlords were super sweet and helpful. When it was cold one evening, we also got the wood for the stove directly. It was great 9 days in a cozy cozy warm house . The house was already preheated. Modern sauna and infrared sauna . For the dogs a great garden with loving neighbor dog . Right at the house, great walking opportunities for the dogs . In an hour you are in Prague or Dresden , there were so many excursions . Shops Penny and Lidl are in the immediate vicinity . A great vacation spot.

We were there with 12 people and had children with us. For them, the house with the property was ideal. We all loved the surroundings, pure nature and time to relax. Very suitable for an extended weekend! We all liked the house very much, little frills, comfortable mattresses, super large dining table and a fireplace that warmed us well. We highly recommend the place and are thinking about coming back. Martin and his wife were also very, very kind and accommodating. Our arrangements worked great and the two were very flexible with the arrival and departure times. Thank you very much for the lovely weekend in a beautiful place!

We had a cozy weekend in the house with our families. The house is well equipped and rather rustic - but exactly what we needed. It's especially cool that every room has a bathroom.

Petra’s place was perfect for us. It was quiet and peaceful with great nature around. You will need a car, but it’s only a 10 minute drive to Slany or Kladno, where you will find everything you need. Petra’s instructions for directions and checking in were very clear. We loved our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Thanks Petra! (PS if you are feeling adventurous, we would recommend walking up the hill behind the house to an old quarry. Great views from the top!)

Lukas was very nice and responsive! The place looks amazing and authentic and was very clean with a lot ot amenities! We were a group of 6 and loved the common space. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

We had a great time, the garden is great, offers plenty of space and enough action for a stay with children. A grill and fireplace are also provided. The house was very clean and had everything you need. Beds were very comfortable and the fireplace makes it cozy, wood was available. The immediate surroundings are not quite as beautiful, the village is affected by a lot of vacancies, but in a few minutes you are right in the beautiful nature. It was very nice.

We were a group of four families with children. Katerina personally welcomed us and explained everything about the accommodation. A very friendly and likeable hostess who responds quickly to messages. The place inspired us all. Above all, the children were very impressed by the huge playroom, which really left nothing to be desired for children. It feels like all toys are available as well as puzzles, books, paints and more. Outside there is a large sandbox and also many toys for it. Perfect!!! There is a very well equipped kitchen, you really have everything you need and much more and everything can be used. The rooms are superbly equipped and clean. A highlight is also a foosball table and a pool table in the attic as well as a projector. A very nice house in a beautiful setting. We also plan to come back at a warmer time to try out the pool in the garden :)

Very nice and nice house

Václav‘s place was perfect for our small break from the city life, as it is located in a peaceful valley between some gorgeous mountains. The backyard was much more beautiful than the pictures in the listing. The hall was very cosy and the kitchen well equipped. The grill place and the fireplace in the backyard also enhanced our evening vibes. The pool and the ping pong table offered us nice activities. The neighbouring towns such as Most additionally gave us some good sightseeing options. Communication with Václav was also great. He and his son helped us with the check-in and check-out processes, which went really smoothly. Altogether the stay is worth the price and we would not hesitate to book again.

We spent the Easter weekend here with the grandparents. Since we did not leave the accommodation, I cannot say anything about the surroundings. But the place was great. Plenty of space. Personal tour to Robert's animals. Large grill. And especially noteworthy are the bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. This makes getting up and going to bed very relaxed.

For an Easter weekend with the extended family, the place was completely adequate. We used three separate apartments, connected by a long hallway. In addition, there was a common room with bar as well as a children's, play and dining room – ideal for many people. The toilets are very small (like on an airplane), the showers were fine. Hallway, kitchen and small intermediate hallways are unheated and correspondingly cool, while it was too warm in the bedrooms despite the lowest heating level. The host team was very friendly and responsive to our questions. They also run a recommended restaurant nearby. Overall, we were very satisfied – the place was suitable for our needs, the value for money was unbeatable.
