Relax in this 2-story house away from the hustle and 40 meters from the national park. 5 minutes from the center and the beach. On the 1st floor is the kitchen and a spectacular open room with an armchair and hammock to enjoy a good book or a relaxing massage. On the 2nd is the room with a fabulous balcony where you will see the spider monkeys and other animals like exotic birds. It sleeps great with the sounds of the jungle. We are neighbors of Casa Jaguar, you can read the good reviews of the place.

I have stayed at many Airbnb’s in multiple countries. This place was the most lovingly-created. Truly a fun little “park” to enjoy in the “jungle”: Can’t wait to go back.

What a location! Tortuguero is unique and Carmen (host), Angelo (Carmen’s husband and guide) and Hector (recommended guide with Angelo) helped shape our wonderful experience there. Accommodation perfectly located in quiet and brand new location 4 minutes walk outside the town, with a terrace overlooking the Caribbean. Although tour offers are plentiful in tortuguero , we would highly recommend choosing Angelo and Hector. With them, we went on a night time walk, early morning boat tour and day hike in national park. In this way, Instead of doing tours in large groups, we were just myself and wife, and got more a much more personalised trip. Seeing an incredible variety of animals and plants, going deeper into the canals than other boat trips, I’ve not felt this connected to nature in years. Would highly recommend this magical experience.

Elizabeth has a great little place to stay. It was perfect for me and met all of my expectations. She was responsive to the few questions that came up prior to and during my stay. I would not hesitate to return here in the future.

we stayed with Vicky for 2 nights. We were absolutely satisfied. Vicky was super sweet and always helped us. The place is clean and you have everything you need. Around the corner is a supermarket and the location is super central. We would definitely come back.
