This is a little bit of heaven. If you're looking for somewhere to get away from everything (but still have enough to do), somewhere quiet (but still with lots going on) and somewhere that feels like a world away from stress and fuss (but still with Angoulême 30 minutes' drive away), you've found it. The house is spacious, warm and welcoming. There's everything you need (including a bottle of red when we arrived!) and restaurants and bars are less than 5 minutes' walk away. The dock at the back of the house on the river may be the best place ever to enjoy a coffee and watch the ducks or open a bottle in the evening. The best place we've found to de-stress. Love it.

It's the second time we've been there and everything is always perfect, whether it's the hospitality or the cleanliness, everything is perfect! I highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose's place in Villefagnan, for many reasons. Yvette greeted us, showed us how to use everything, and answered all my questions and requests for help. Rose's home is very comfortable. Top quality beds, pillows and linens, empty dressers so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase, a fully equipped kitchen, the list goes on. The beautiful backyard, with grass, flowers and cherry trees was our favorite place to spend a sunny afternoon. And the village of Villefagnan is wonderful, too. The town square is 2 houses away, and the patisserie is just across the square, so we had fresh croissants every morning. Two restaurants, a bouchère, a corner market, Tobac, and a pharmacy make up the rest of the village, everything you need. There are bike roads in every direction, so our dogs enjoyed long walks every day. The locals are friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

I rented Karen's place for my mother-in-law for a week, I wanted to thank Karen because the communication was great! My mother-in-law enjoyed the accommodation, its location, cleanliness and amenities.

Our stay at Maud and Laurent's went very well. The accommodation is nice and well organized. Everything you need is there and the accommodation is very well located. We recommend it!

The instructions left were clear and simple, the cleanliness as a whole was perfect, the shower and toilet were clean, the kitchen and its utensils made available were all clean, the accessibility close to the train station is really a plus, small surprise there is a small private courtyard outside I highly recommend it.

We spent two nights at the Flèche Bleue. This old fisherman's hut by the water totally seduced us. Birdsong, disconnection, nature … A very good time.
