Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Havana

Olimme 7 viikkoa Yolandan ja Barbaron talossa ja meillä oli koko yläkerta vuokrattuna. Heidän talonsa on upea colonial casa, alkuperäiset lattia kaakelit, upeita alkuperäisiä huonekaluja, mutta kuitenkin modernit hyvät patjat sängyissä. Oli kuin aikamatka Kuubaan , kun astuimme sinne. Ja kaikki oli niin puhdasta ja siistiä. Kaikki toimi erinomaisesti ja he pitivät meistä huolta, kuin omasta perheestä. Joulupäivänä he kutsuivat meidät ilalliselle ja Dominoa pelaamaan ja lähtöpäivänä he valmistivat ihanan Kuubalaisen päivällisen. Barbaron kautta saimme Kuuban sim kortin ja myös wifi toimi hyvin, kun teimme välillä töitä. Asunto sijaitsee niin keskeisellä paikalla Vedadossa, että meidän oli helppo kävellä joka paikkaan, esim Malecon, Plaza de la Revolution,joka katu täynnä toinen toistaan upeampia rakennuksia, monet ravintolat ym. Iso tori on aivan talon vieressä ja sieltä haimme aamiaistarpeet. Vieressä olevasta kioskista haimme joka aamu tuoretta mangomehua. Lämmin Kiitos kaikesta!

Muy satisfecha con el alojamiento, casa Colonial muy bien concervada, con patio central precioso, mucha limpieza, el personal de atención a los clientes es muy amable, la habitación muy bien en todos los sentidos, me sentí como en casa, sin dudas repetiría la experiencia.

Farah's home was wonderful! My best friend and I decided to take a vacation together to celebrate our 30th birthdays, and we could not have been more happy that we chose this place to stay in Vedado. The home was spacious and clean. The bathroom is modern and large, but the best part by far was the beautiful front porch. We loved sitting out there in the morning and in the evening watching the quite neighborhood move by. The host provided two umbrellas which ended up being very useful, as well as a map of the neighborhood with suggested restaurants and sites. One place that wasn't on the list that I would highly recommend is Starbien Restaurante. We had a very nice lunch here one day for 12CUC per person. It has a lovely outdoor seating area, if you can bear the heat, but if not they air conditioning inside. Starbien Restaurante Calle 29 #205 entre B y C Vedado Telef: 7 830 07 11 I would like to note that unfortunately we did have one complication during our stay; we didn't have water for the first two days, but Anabel (the care taker of the house) could not have been more accommodating and helpful. She lives in the neighborhood, and was at our home multiple times a day to bring us water and continually tried to fix the problem. She went out of her way to to make us as comfortable as possible. Farah's mother also showed up to try and help, and reimbursed us some money for your inconvenience, which was unnecessary but very appreciated. Eventually the water was fixed and all was well. The problem ended up being the motor. On another note, Anabel was a fabulous host in Farah's absence. It was a pleasure to get to know her, and she prepares an excellent breakfast!

Nous y sommes restés une nuit à notre arrivé à Cuba et tout s'est très bien passé. Pedro & Mayra nous ont envoyé de nombreuses informations utiles en amont de notre arrivée. Mayra parle le français, ce qui a facilité la communication. Ils proposent également un bon petit déjeuner en supplément.

Una experiencia muy agradable, la casa y la habitación están impecables, decoradas con muy buen gusto y muy limpias. Yesenia y Mario fueron muy amables y comunicativos. Les recomiendo el servicio de desayuno, muy rico. Gracias por la hospitalidad :)

What can I say… I am so glad I stayed here as I have found another familia to join my ever growing familia in Cuba … the place is clean with lots of character. Mercedes is so helpful with helpful with arranging absolutely anything. Nothing is ever to much for that woman. Luis was amazing his knowledge is second to none and even took me for a walk around the town. Luis their son another amazing character who took me in his motorbike sidecar for a a tour of Habana. If you are looking around and read my review just trust me I’m a picky person and I have nothing to fault at their place at all! I will most definitely be booking to stay here every time I come just to see these guys and spend time together. Finally as a female solo traveller they all really cared about my safety and could not have done more to make me feel at home and secure :) see you soon in my way back xxx

This is more than a Casa Particular, you really feel like family! From exchanging dollars, being provided a SIM card, tasty breakfast, keys for room and a safe, lovely terrace in the front and back, and nearby restaurants. What more could you want! We loved our stay and hope to return next year!

Loreley's place was great. We only stayed one night but it was great to have such a comfortable room (bed/pillows especially) to relax in after a day of travelling. They were very welcoming. Keti was there to check us in (we arrived very early as well) . The building was a tastefully updated 19th century home but the room itself was particularly well updated. Shower and everything in the bathroom functioned perfectly. Might have been the best sleep of the whole 11 day trip. Like most Cubans we met, Keti and Raoul were very friendly and took the time to chat with us about life in Havana. The location was great to be a 10 minute taxi ride to Old Havana but walking distance to a lot of great restaurants (Costa Vino was top class) , Art ( FAC very close by, we went twice) and dancing of course (gardens at 1830 for salsa). We also found a lot of small galleries and poster shops on Ave 23, 5 minutes from the house. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay. Property is beautiful and well maintained as noted by others. We felt right at home, Yanetxy was there to welcome us when we arrived. She settled us right in and had Dennis make us drinks at the rooftop bar. She was very knowledgeable about where to go, places to eat and what to see. The personal touch was very much appreciated and we would have liked to have stayed longer. The location was great for our needs, it was very close to other excellent Air BnB experiences. WiFi on rooftop also a plus (no internet card needed!). Overall it was perfect for our mother daughter trip. We highly recommend the property and would certainly stay again. In our opinion Vedado is the place to be! Thank you Yanetxy, Joel, Dennis and all the staff for your hospitality.

Doris' place is hosted by Magdalena who is a gracious wonderful woman! She is the heart of this Casa, along with her two children, and speaks wonderful English and French! Doris answered our questions rapidly before we arrived, and Magdalena welcomed us warmly. The room is in Vedado and has a private balcony with a small view of the Malecon; at present there is some construction ongoing nearby which is loud during the day, but with the door closed it is quiet - and at night it is also quiet. The room is comfortable and it feels as though you are staying with a friend. The neighbourhood is near a student area and it is not lively at night but there are always people around and I never felt unsafe; I walked solo to the wifi hotspot down the road at 11PM and had no problems. It is very close to the Malecon, and also to a wifi hotspot. It is a good 45 minute-1 hour walk to the core of old Havana but cabs are around 5CUC (it's a lovely walk though, especially at night). The room itself is a reasonable size and very clean with lots of storage space. The light is great, and there is a fan and an AC unit. There is a large shared bathroom that was meticulously clean, appeared recently renovated with a wonderful shower. Magdalena's breakfast was the best we had in our 10 days in Cuban casas. Magdalena got us a reasonably priced taxi to the airport on the day we left. I would highly recommend staying here! It was the most welcoming and homey experience we had in Cuba!

Definitely stay here for your time in Habana, it is really beautiful classical colonial architecture with excellent design touches and hospitality, as well as great coffee and breakfast. It is located in Vedado with many art locations and walking distance to famous hotels and views. The wifi is cheap and much more functional than other places. Enjoy!

We spent a very nice time in the house of Carmen and Enrique. They welcomed us very warmly and helped us a lot with good advices. We almost felt like being home! Nice and well situated flat I certainly recommend to book!

I have such a great time, Ana is a top host and the place is great. Spacious comfy rooms , nice terrace and garden, the breakfast is super good ! great value for offer ! . I contracted their taxi pick up service from and to the airport and recommend everyone to do this. The location is super, centric enough and with distance sufficient to break in the evening from the overflow of tourists and maracas . Great restaurants around at very good prices. Ana helped me to organise my countryside excursion , I safe time and money and enjoyed Cuba at max . I recommend this place 100% !

Llegar a La Habana Cuba y hospedarme en el Hostal edificio Lola Tercer piso en calle 27 fue la mejor elección para pasar unos días de celebración por los 15 años de mi hija. La idea era estar en un sitio agradable para poder entrar y salir con libertad y confianza al mismo tiempo que conocíamos la capital, y así fue. La atención de la señora Alina más que exquisita fue familiar, el ambiente humano primó en esos días con desayunos nutritivos y en horario. La experiencia ha sido única pues está situado en un lugar súper céntrico con vista a importantes hoteles como el Habana Libre. Es sin duda una opción para permanecer en la capital cubana y mejor aun querer regresar.

Perfect place to stay in Havana, great location, 10 min from old havana and 10 min from miramar area, the property is beautiful super confortable with beautiful ocean views, and very secured. the owners treated us like family and they helped with everything we needed like transportation or guidance for money exchange, places to go, etc, 100% recomended.

Llegue un poco tarde y me esperaban a la llegaa. El sitio estaba muy bien. Muy bien ubicado en una zona segura en pleno Vedado. Las instalaciones estaban muy limpias y ordenadas. La chica de la casa Alina es muy amable y estaba muy pendiente en cada momento de lo que pudiera necesitar. Repeti la estancia cuando volvi a la Habana
