Nice location and peaceful and private. Beautiful beach. Suggest using the “back road” to come and go due to very congested traffic along the beach road. Walk out patio to beach and the amazing views are a real plus. Only one restaurant near the property so plan to travel a little or utilize the well-equipped kitchen.

The Pacifico gated community is terrific; makes you feel like you are on vacation. We were there for a wedding and only briefly so we could not take advantage of all the offerings (especially the pool). The unit was clean and as described. Communication was terrific except for one hiccup -- we received a message with the WiFi password, but it was incorrect. It was the ALL CAPS version of what we were told, and while we messaged the property management service several times; we never really got a timely response as we finally figured it out ourselves. In the future, when you send a message with the password, make sure you send the exact password! Also, you will love the AC!

Really enjoyed this place. Super spacious, well stocked, great patio. Felt like home. The complex is great - we enjoyed waking to the cafe, taproom and grocery store. Loved the pools and hot tub. Loved the restaurant / bar right beside the pool. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

I’ve travelled around the world, staying in airbnbs and hotels around the globe and I have to say this was easily the best place I’ve stayed. The house had everything I needed, such as cooking utensils, two propane tanks for the Bbq, comfortable furnishings, and pristine linens. The pictures matched the place, and if anything the place looks better in person. Thank you for your generous hospitality, I hope to return again with my entire family next time.

Beautiful location with Marina, mountain and stunning sunrise views over the ocean. Pool was a good temperature and home was clean and spacious!

Our stay at this home was absolutely magical! The breathtaking views from every room and the infinity pool were beyond anything we could have imagined. Perched on a hillside with a sweet, cooling breeze, the setting was both peaceful and private while still being just minutes from beautiful beaches and local amenities.

We stayed here for 4 nights. It had everything we needed, lots of space, clean, very private - really nice to have your own pool and patio area. The location is perfect - five minute walk to several good restaurants or a drive of no more than 10 minutes will give you a lot more options. Five minute walk to the beach. Or a 10 minute drive will get you to Playa Flamingo, one of the nicest beaches in the north Pacific CR. Our host kept me well informed and was always available to help. Overall it was a great experience, absolutely no complaints!

We had a lovely trip to Playa Flamingo and the house was as described and in photos. It is Not fancy but very functional and with a lovely view and a nice pool.There were a few small land crabs that would come in the house but otherwise it was pretty free of bugs; there were hardly any mosquitoes. We were visited by some iguanas and there are a few raccoons that like to visit the pool at night and leave little gifts on the patio and in the pool, but its Costa Rica... The pool and the balcony upstairs both had lovely breezes and were great for sitting out in the early mornings and evenings. No better place for a sunset than the upstairs. Not that we were around much in the evenings - the beach is wonderful and so closely so we were mostly out there. It was a lovely week and we very much enjoyed the home.

Mambo Oasis provided everything our family needed for a vacation I have dreamed about for years! Our whole family was together and it fit all 13 of us very comfortably with lots of space. The kitchen was so spacious and fully stocked with everything needed to cook most meals while there. The service was amazing and had quick replies with any issue we messaged them with. We felt very safe in the gated community yet was very private; we loved swimming in the pool at dusk watching the Howler monkeys yelling in the trees, and also want to mention the amazing views of the ocean and mountains along with the beautiful sunsets! Am still wishing we were there and not back home!

Special Places was WONDERFUL. They contacted us at check-in with clear, concise instructions. In a place that doesn't really have street names and directions are similar to "turn left at the mermaid statue", Special Places found a way to give us directions to where we needed to be in order to check-in easily. The condo is located in Pacifico, which is a fabulous resort with every amenity you could hope for. The pools (and there are many!) were relaxing, clean and easily accessible. Walking to a myriad of restaurants and even a (VERY Americanized) grocery store is a snap. The beach is beautiful for both those that love to play in it and those that love to look at it. :D The hosts were very attentive and checked in on a regular basis to ensure all our needs were met. We really enjoyed our short stay here! The view was amazing and we had everything we needed, with clear instructions from the host and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The kids LOVED the pools and the friendly staff. We had a great time watching birds on the balcony, spending time on the beach and eating at restaurants close by. The grocery store on site was very handy. Overall, a great experience and we wished we could have stayed longer!

Exactly as described, really clean spacious place. Felt very safe and slept really well! The kids loved the pool, and we loved going to Hermosa Beach nearby. The grocery store is next door which was super convenient. Would definitely stay again!

A beautiful place to stay. We loved being on ground level to walk right out to the pool or sit on deck for breakfast in morning. The pool area is lush green and gorgeous. The kitchen was fully stocked with Ice machine in fridge was nice to use on hot days. There was no beach items as mentioned. We had a beach day plan but had no umbrella or chairs. It did have a sun tent to use. The bed and pillows are firm. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Bring face clothes, we only had 2 for our stay. It is nice to have laundry facilities to use.

A great location, close to downtown, the beach, supermarkets 500mts away, the cleanliness of the spot, has everything you need for a perfect stay, the amazing kitchen area, comfortable beds, sofa bed in perfect condition like one more bed, the common areas excellent the pool, the host always attentive responding almost immediately. Super recommended. Thanks to the hosts. Recommendation to check the tax collection, as the Ticos are being charged, and the bank is also being charged.
