House vacation rentals in Playa Guiones

Had a lovely 2 week stay at Casa Clara. The home is very clean, chic, modern and lots of natural light. Nice nature surrounding on all sides. Sofia was an impeccable communicator and extremely helpful as our host. She was so nice and supportive during our stay. The private gate and parking was a nice touch as well. They kept the pool and gardens very clean during our stay so my kids could always swim in the pool. Outdoor showers were our favorite so we didn't use the ones indoors at all. Only downside was no dishwasher but we made it work! Great location and super close to all the big spots, but also not near the main road so we had some quiet (except for the amazing monkeys) and peace to ourselves. We would stay there again!

We loved our stay! It was beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the pool a lot and were lucky enough to see howler monkeys and hummingbirds from the deck!

La comunicación con Kevin y su familia fue buena, respetuosa y atentos a ayudar y responder rápido, aclarando cualquier duda. El lugar es muy ordenado, limpio y privado. Cercano a lugares de interés como restaurantes, supermercados, café y playas. Recomendado.

We had a wonderful time at Laird’s home. The location is absolutely perfect! Just steps from the market, restaurants, and of course the beach! Everything we needed was provided and perfectly accommodated our group of 10 people. The beds were very comfortable and noise was minimal. The outdoor space was great for relaxing in the pool and playing games at the table in the evening. Would definitely recommend staying here and will hopefully be back soon!

La maison est superbe et très bien située à quelques minutes de la plage de Samara et Carillo, des épiceries et des restaurants. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec salles de bain privées. Seul petit bémol, le coq du voisin chante très tôt le matin et dans diverses situations...mais on s'habitue avec le temps. Galileo est très réactif ainsi que Sandra. Je recommande fortement cette maison. Nous y avons passé de bons moments.

This place was pure magic. Close to playa pelada and some great restaurants and the little bodega store. Our two families loved the separate living spaces that were just interactive enough. The concierge service was a great help in getting local recommendations and booking excursions. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful week with my family of four! Loved Punta Islita—beautiful beach and resort- amenities available to us! So much wildlife around! We actually loved the separate master bedroom, worked perfectly for us. The pool was exquisite! Highly recommend!

Casa 3 picos es acogedora, un lugar para compartir con la familia, playa blanca esta relativamente cerca, recomendamos ir caminando, no llevar autos, la casa cuenta con todo lo necesario en habitaciones y cocina, si van con niños pequeños deben tener cuidado con las gradas de caracol. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estadía, don Gerardo es muy atento y Joseph contestó con rapidez nuestras dudas. 100% recomendada para unas vacaciones relajantes👌🏻

A glorious property right on the Samara beachfront. We rented out all four units for our four person family which gave everyone plenty of space and freedom. The house was quiet and peaceful - neighbours were rarely seen. The ocean and waves were beautiful for a family swim. The area felt very safe, even at night. Maggie the property manager was a total gem and helped us settle in. Highly recommend this property for those who are looking for a walk-out beachfront property a little outside of town.

El alojamiento es igual que en las fotos, la casa es muy iluminada, limpia y ordenada. Tiene todos los utensilios y electrodomésticos necesarios. Las habitaciones son amplias y con suficientes camas para alojar familias grandes. El hecho que esté en un condominio hace que la casa sea muy segura. La piscina es muy fresca y los niños la disfrutaron mucho. Los caminos de la zona son de tierra pero en buen estado, sólo los últimos 2km para llegar al condominio están algo mal, pero manejando despacio hasta un automóvil puede ingresar. Playa Frijolar está a 5 minutos y es muy bonita. Recomiendo al 100% esté alojamiento para sus vacaciones, Yanci estuvo muy atenta y fue pronta con sus respuestas.

We had a wonderful time at this little beachfront property. The sunsets were unbelievable! We were visited by cats and dogs and birds. We got to watch locals enjoy the beach on the Sunday that we arrived and we were even invited to join the bonfire. It was a great place to end our vacation!

This is a spacious home in a private, remote, beautiful location. The beach view is lovely and the pool was wonderful. The kitchen has lots of dishes but no pantry items. Make sure to buy those as well as groceries well before getting close to the house. The hotel near by is a nice food option but not cheap. We loved the sunsets.

Très belle villa, propre, intime, ce trouve dans un développement assez nouveau, quelque nouvelle construction au alentour, gardien de sécurité a l'entrée, les singes passe directement dans la cour, tout est en place pour un beau séjour. Seul bé molle, la route pour si rendre est assez ardus.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The house was perfect for us, the kids enjoyed the pool, and Erick was super helpful.

The location of this is home could not be any better. It is right downtown by the beach. But, despite being downtown, it was still quiet at night. It has a nice, shaded courtyard. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Samara.

We had a fantastic and relaxing time in Samara. The house is very comfortable, with the best beds of our Costa Rica trip. The kitchen was well equipped, and everything was as described. The pool, while small, entertained the kids after a half day at the beach. Two things to note if you're going to book. 1) You may think it is walkable to Samara, and technically it is, but in the heat of the day it is not. 2) The public utility infrastructure of Samara is under strain, so expect blackouts and at certain times of the day a dribble of water pressure. This is a Costa Rica thing, not a house thing. We had a fantastic time.

We had a lovely stay at the House of G. Favourite things about this place were the views of the ocean, the mix of fruit trees, hearing howler monkeys, bird watching (and listening), and the modern architecture. Air conditioning was only on the upper floor bedrooms, so the upper bathrm was hot and the lower level got pretty hot too. The ceiling fans helped and so did the breeze. On the plus side, it forced us to use the outdoor living space more than we probably would have if the lower level had a/c and the pool/outdoor shower offered a quick refresher when needed. The place required a key transfer from super friendly Luis. It would have been easier and more private if there was a lock box setup, but then we wouldn’t have met Luis, so key swapped worked out just fine. We found it easier to make the quick drive to Samara than walk, to avoid walking on the narrow main road. It was easy to find on street parking in Samara. Thank you Shannon for hosting & Luis for managing the property!

Moc hezké a čisté ubytování.Vila je zasazena ve velmi klidné částí uprostřed jungle,kde jsme měli štěstí že nás navštívil pásovec a různé druhy krásně zbarvených ptáků.Pobyt na vile jsme si s rodinou moc užily.

Michael es un gran anfitrion desde nuestra llegada estuvo atento y con muy buena comunicacion, el lugar es muy tranquilo y perfecto para unas vacaciones lejos del ruido de la ciudad, ademas playa frijolar está super cerca, lo recomiendo al 100% es un excelente lugar!!! Volveremos…

Great place to spend a relaxing vacation. Douglas was very responsive and the property was in a beautiful location. If you arent familiar with Costa Rica, be prepared the roads and long travel times. The location is in a beautiful location, but doesnt have alot of locations near the property. We were looking for that so it was perfect. Douglas' instructions and recommendations were very helpful and we really enjoyed the pool on property. We also had private chefs and massages on site which were great.

Siempre es un gusto para mi familia hospedarnos en casa Luna . La casa es muy acogedora, tiene todo lo que se necesita. La ubicación es muy conveniente, muy cerca de la playa y del centro de Samara. Alfredo es un gran anfitrión que siempre está atento a lo que se necesite y las personas que le ayudan son también muy agradables . Es nuestra tercera vez en Casa Luna y esperamos volver muy pronto

A beautiful place with incredible views and surroundings. The sunsets in the evening were spectacular. We were very lucky to have a very loud family of howler monkeys on the property that we saw in the trees a few days of our stay. The house was clean and comfortable and each bedroom had air-conditioning which is definitely needed. We stayed at the house during the Olympics and on day 4 the tv stopped working completely. Mariam was amazing and brought us another tv within hours. The location is isolated from the main town Nosara and the track up the mountain is very bumpy and not paved at all; you definitely need a 4x4. There were thunder-storms every day early evening which were amazing to watch. The concierge service was first class. Miriam organised a chef to celebrate our friends 50th (the food was incredible) and gave us lots of recommendations for excursions. Would highly recommend.

Tyler is an ideal host! He's very friendly, responsive, and helpful. We loved staying at this place for three main reasons. First, the gorgeous and cool outdoor kitchen and pool. The beach is awesome, but does get hot. Tyler's backyard oasis was so refreshing and it was very fun to cook outdoors and mingle with the other guests. Second, the lovely local hosts aka Tyler's in-laws. They were on-site during our visit and so very nice. Finally, we could easily walk to the beach and surf! We took one lesson, and then easily rented boards from Tyler for the reminder of our stay to hone our surfing skills. This is a great spot, and a place we hope to return! Thanks Tyler!
