Places to stay in Platis Gialos

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful villa. It’s spacious and has a nice terrace. It’s perfect for 5-6 people. The host is very responsive and thoughtful. We highly recommend! ♥️

Loved our Stay at Isabelle and Niko's place. They were very helpful in making sure we made it safely from the port to the accommodation and then to the airport when leaving. They were also willing to help if we needed anything else. The apartment is very cute and has everything you need. The room has a bathroom, fridge and plenty storage for your clothes. The outdoor area has a number nice spots to chill in the sun and cook breakfast in the outdoor kitchen. The location is a little bit further away from the main hot spots (Platis Gialos beach etc.) but still in walking distance and definitely a short drive on a quad. This makes quieter and you get a bit more of a sense of what island living is like! The BNB is also very close (2 min walk) from an amazing and cheap, greek restaurant called Stasi Diethnes cooking traditional Greek food!

Would recommend, just a little stop gap for us but was perfect. The apartment was exactly as advertised, check in was perfect, the whole place was spotless with really friendly cleaners working tirelessly all day. The pool and bar was so amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough.

It was such a an amazing place to stay. Our own beach at the front to go for a dip and catch sun all day. The whole family were so friendly and there if you needed anything. The place has such a nice vibe where everyone gets to meet (if you want) and the location is so close to many other restaurants and beaches all accessible by foot. I highly recommend.

The apartment was absolutely perfect, very spacious and comfortable. The view of the sea from the balcony is absolutely priceless. The beach is basically right infront of your doorstep. Public transportation is within walking distance. There are some beautiful beach bars and restaurants at the beach in Platys Gialos. A big thank you to Emanuel, who was running the Airbnb. He was super helpful, and answered every inquiry within minutes. I had an amazing time, and can only recommend it to anyone.

We loved our stay at Vagelis’s place in Platis Gialos!! The room was clean and the bed/linens are super comfortable. The little terrace was also very nice to sit out on and relax in the shade. The area is perfect, just a quick 5 min walk to a cafe, shops, restaurants, the beach and a bus stop that takes you right into town. Vagelis was also very helpful and accommodating. He gave very clear instructions on how to find the apartment and get in, and answered our questions regarding transport/getting around the island in detail and promptly. Would definitely recommend this spot to anybody wishing to travel to Mykonos island!!

AMAZING. First time in Greece and the location had me transported back 5,000 years. Crystal Blue waters. Easy beach access. Close to town with Delcious restaurants and bakeries. If you’re looking for a low key spot that is close to some action this would be it. Karin is Absolutley wonderful. She had a bunch of waters already there for us when we arrived, scheduled a car to pick us up etc… Really amazing people and honestly brought us back to what Air BnB originally was. Hosts actually connecting with the people staying with them (the Airbnb is connected to the house) but we had our space and privacy the entire time. Felt like home and know we’ll be back! If you’re looking to book on Mykonos for first time and you’re wanting something chill, walkable and beautiful this is it!

We stayed at Seethroughmykonos as a couple and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The setting is peaceful and private, with stunning views that made every evening feel like a dream. It was the perfect escape from the crowds—quiet, relaxing, and incredibly scenic. Our Jr suite was stylish and comfortable, with a private porch that overlooked the pool and ocean. Waking up to the view each morning felt like a dream. The room had everything we needed, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into the details. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful—always available without being overbearing. They gave great local recommendations that helped to make our visit unforgettable. Breakfast was a lovely way to start the day—fresh and simple, with that unbeatable view. If you’re looking for a romantic, quiet spot to really unwind together, this place is a gem. We left already talking about coming back.
