This is the kind of place you'll never forget. Wow wow wow! The view is really great; in the green, between the rocks overlooking the sea. There is no one around and you really have a cottage to yourself and that on a very beautiful piece of Crete. It is smart to do groceries on the way (in the kitchen you will find everything to cook and there is a barbecue), because a large supermarket is almost half an hour's drive and the tavern in the village is great for the day, but in the evening you do not want to take that dark route on loose stones (that road is anyway getting used to, but to do). Do you feel like checking out for a few days? Then this is really the place. We will definitely come back!

The view was worth the price alone Cracking little apartment, with parking and in easy walking distance to the village. Well appointed and very comfortable for our family of 4. Nestled in a stunning mountain range, the apartment is really handy for a 15 minutes drive to Elafonisi Beach and pretty close to Chania. We loved it ❤️

Absolutely magical! Roula’s stone house is an incredibly picturesque and charming place to stay. The terrace is a dream – shaded naturally by a tree and offering a stunning view of the sunset. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished, with everything you might need. A little heads-up for tall people: the doorway to the terrace is a bit low – you might want to duck (don’t worry, we laughed every time!). There are some fantastic tavernas just around the corner, and it’s the perfect starting point for scenic hikes through the area. We loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful old house with character in a quiet area. Stunning terraces. Excellent hosting. Perfect location. Too bad the stairs are so dangerous and that once you get upstairs, there's no space to move back from the bed.

Typical accommodation, nice volume, very nice exterior. Very clean with a very nice welcome from Maria. We recommend this property without hesitation.

The tastefully restored and decorated accommodation is located in the middle of the olive trees next to other houses in the village. The accommodation is spacious with on each side of the house, a very nice terrace. Neighbors are lovely. We were greeted by many cats, as in all of Crete. Communication with Nancy or Kallia was very responsive. We will definitely return to this house for calm, mountain views and proximity to quality shops and restaurants. I'll start with one word. WOW. The hosts were as welcoming as I have never experienced. We were personally greeted, got a few snacks right away and were given tips for the area for about 1 hour. The hosts are visibly proud of their island and rightly so! As a farewell, we also received fresh pastries (with spinach in them, it was even warm) and some souvenirs. This has been the best experience on the part of hosts that we have experienced so far. It was just as good in Corfu (again Greeks :D). About the apartment: Fantastic view, clean, super furnished. Cat family on site (4 very young cats and 2 older ones) that you can feed with food that is provided. With kids, that would be perfect. We had a lot of fun with the cats. And the support during the stay was also great. Theodosia was always available. :D Really, you can't go wrong with the apartment. :)

Everything was in like-new condition with tasteful and cozy furnishings. It had everything we needed. A true highlight was the beautiful garden with our own lemon tree and a stunning sea view from a small hill. Just a 5-minute walk to the beach and 7 minutes to town. Everything was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended — we would come back anytime! Eugenia and especially her husband were incredibly kind, helpful, and always available if we needed anything.

We had a wonderful stay at the appartment! The space was perfect for the two of us and we enjoyed the sunbeds on the terrace. When waking up you can immediately see the sea and enjoy the views. The location is very quiet and a good place to discover the surroundings, but also Kissamos itself!

Great location, very short walk to the port, beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony. The host was extremely responsive and always willing to help make our stay comfortable! Apartment was very clean and the jacuzzi is a great feature. Multiple cafe’s/bars just downstairs with great food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend staying at this property if you want to be close to the venetian port and all Chania has to offer.

This is more than house. It is a nest. You've got everything, kitchen is great, netflix, air-conditioning, you name it. The place è is quite and you can sleep as a baby. You've got your own parking too! The most powerful thing in the house is the hosts Paula. It was like meeting a family member that you didn't see for years. She was so caring, so kind, lovely. It is hard to describe. Thanks you!

We're delighted with the stay c/o Eleni. She is attentive to the details that make you happy (little touches on arrival, enough to prepare breakfast). We loved the rooftop terrace area with views of the city and bay. We'll be back if the opportunity arises.

Such a phenomenal place! We stayed here as a group of five and it was so reasonably priced. AMAZING views, you are literally right against the water. Gorgeous, clean space. Easy 15 minute walk into Old Town. Host was amazing, she helped us call a taxi when we needed and gave us lots of recommendations. Stay here!!!

From initial arrival, with croissants and other goods waiting, to my departure, I felt right at home. Location allowed for an easy walk to the city centre, with the beach, groceries and restaurants close at hand. Great location for exploring the western end of Crete, with parking available. Quiet and convenient, and generous hosts.

Perfect place to visit Crete. Restaurants and supermarkets in feet distance. Easy to go to Balos, Elafonisi and Chania by car. Very comfortable fully equipped apartment. Terrace is really big and amazing. Hosts are very friendly. We came at night and Alisia's mom cooked for us hot fresh greek meal. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend!

This is absolutely our favorite Airbnb that we've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in a lot). The place is adorable. Katerina is very responsive and lives right by the apartment. The view is wonderful, and both the living room and twin bedroom have doors that open onto that view. It has everything you need and more, with Katerina providing treats and even cereal and milk for that first morning. The air conditioning worked well, but there is also a lovely breeze from the sea. There are tons of restaurants and cafes just below the apartment as well as with 5 and 10 minutes walk in Old Town. It would be comfortable for a couple and a third person (such as a child) or two people, each with their own room. The washing machine was great to have, and you can dry clothes on the lines off the balcony. We did not want to leave.

We had a lovely but short stay at Valia’s very spacious apartment for our family of 5. The wrap around balcony was a treat and the rooms stayed cold and dark to allow us to sleep off our jet lag. Nice and close to old town Chania and lots of spots nearby for coffee/wine and pastry!

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

We had such a great time here! Nikos' place looks exactly as advertised, if not more beautiful. I especially adored the high ceiling, spacial living room/kitchen and lots of natural light. In May Greek weather it's a perfect appartment to comfortably sit outside/inside and sleep at night. The center of Chania is about 10 minutes away by car so a rental car is recommended. Luckily you can easily park it right next to the house. You can also get a taxi to get there, which costs for us 10-15 euros for 2 people. The communication with Nikos was lovely. He gave recommendations, answered questions quickly and made it so everything was clear and comfortable for us.
