This exquisitely recently remodeled second floor studio-style carriage house features everything. Cook on a chef's gas stove and have breakfast with a view of a leafy neighborhood. Plenty of light fills the space and vibrant artwork adds to the airy atmosphere. Take a soak in the antique tub. Perfect for the road warrior with workspace, WiFi, and a quiet atmosphere, or for a couple for a nice weekend retreat. Get cozy in the Casper bed. Young families will appreciate the living room sofa which opens into a full size bed. Easy property access for flexibility to come and go. Note for children: The quarters are on the second floor. There is no gate (for small children,) however one could be arranged with notice. We can also make arrangements for high chair and a travel/pack n’ play crib for a small fee. There is also a pool on the property. This is a studio set-up - no doors between bedroom/sitting area/kitchen. There is a pergola and sitting area right off the apartment front door that is dedicated to the apartment. There is also private back gate access off the alley if desired. Owner available via text anytime and also on-site for emergencies. The guesthouse is in East Dallas—a 5 minuite drive or quick walk to the restaurants and bars on Greenville Ave., and a 10-minute drive to downtown, White Rock Lake, and SMU. Walk to Lakewood Village for groceries and restaurants through the Swiss Avenue historic district. Very close to Fair Park and Deep Ellum and easy access to I-30 for a straight shot to AT&T Stadium. Car, Uber, Lyft, Bus Stop on the next block For weekly/monthly guests, housekeeping can be arranged for a fee. There are dogs in the front house, but they are not in the freestanding back house. Anything beyond a standard stay, please contact for approval before booking. We cannot accommodate photoshoots or events without prior approval and an appropriate additional fees Checkout is at 11am sharp to accommodate cleaning for the next guests.

I can't say enough good things about the hosts. We were going through some really rough times throughout our stay. Our home flooded and that's why we needed a place to stay, there were "deaths" in our family, and confusing insurance hops to jump through. Thanks to Grant and Alyssa we were able to get in the house on December 23rd and be in a home for Christmas. We were staying in a hotel, and there are 7 of us! We were there during the snowy and wet weather and noticed there weren't any mats inside to wipe our feet on. I messaged Grant, the next day mats were delivered to the front door. We had a small issue with the bed and Alyssa came over the next day to help out with that. They are very responsive and easy to work with. They made our living situation as comfortable and stress free as possible. They were literally our shelter in life's storms💞

My son and I came with some friends for a weekend getaway. Having 4 bedrooms enabled us all to have our own room and private space which was awesome. The time spent at the house was enjoyable hanging out in the spacious living area and able to play billiards and air hockey. None of us turned on the TV while we were there. The house is much larger than it looks from the front. We uad plenty of room. 100% recommend this place.

Sarah‘s house was perfect for our weekend in Murphy, as our friends live there. Sarah was very quick to respond to my messages and sent her handyman over right away to get the bathroom light switch to work. Kitchen was great! We didn’t use the hot-tub or outdoor area because there were several places to gather, talk and relax inside. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Plenty of towels, too. The Nest thermostat made it easy to adjust the temp at night. She was thoughtful to provide snacks when we arrived late our first night. The house is very large and in a quiet neighborhood. It worked perfectly for our needs and with some minor updating, it will be an awesome house! Great communication with me from beginning to end. Would love to stay there when we visit Murphy again.

Mike and Adriana were amazing hosts! Very quick response time and so friendly and accommodating! Celebrated my birthday here and had a great time. Beautiful property and met all of our needs. Check in and check out we’re very simple and straight forward. They give plenty of details and were awesome. Can’t recommend this place enough!
