Beautiful house close to center, nature, culture

JohanRating, 5 stars9 months ago
we stayed at the house for 10 days with our whole family, 6 adults and 3 small children. The house is beautiful and spacious. The garden is wonderful for children. There is only a fairly busy and confusing road in front of the house which was sometimes difficult with the children playing in the front yard. The facilities in the house were more than fine, nice that there was a washing machine with dryer. The weather was not always great but the children had a great time with the huge amount of lego that was present. The location of the house is very good. Aarhus city center is 10 minutes by car and closer and walkable are a park, the summer residence of the royal family and a deer park and a beach (unfortunately given the weather we did not use this). Legoland is about 1 hour away. We had a good time.
A welcoming living area features a spacious sectional sofa adorned with decorative cushions. A textured brick wall is illuminated with soft lighting, creating a soothing ambiance. A low coffee table is centered with a decorative arrangement, while a floor lamp adds warmth to the space.

Spacious Beach house

CharleyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a great time at Ole and Charlottes place. We especially enjoyed the wonderful and enormous garden, where our 18 month old daughter could walk around freely and play in the grass. The house is beautifully decorated (we had to moves some things to higher levels though, as it’s not fully childproof) and although it’s an old building, it has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The bed was a bit soft to our liking, but that’s just personal preference. The only thing that would make everything even better would be a hottub somewhere in the garden (especially because the bathroom doesn’t have a bathtub) but you should always have something to wish for right ;) Ole and Charlotte were on vacation themselves so we didn’t actually meet them, but communication beforehand was good. They sent us a list of recommendations for things to do and where to shop. And even from their holiday destination they responded to our messages (with some delay, but that’s to be expected). Thanks!
A bright living area features large windows allowing natural light to fill the space. A neutral color palette is complemented by wooden flooring. A cozy sofa is placed beside a modern entertainment unit, while plants add a touch of greenery to the inviting atmosphere.

Charming and great location ☀️

SolveigRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We have really felt welcome here. We had 3 wonderful weeks in Hedensted😊The house was so nice and homey😊 Great outdoor area with many amenities, which was easy to keep in order. It had everything you need on vacation with children. It was great with several seating areas, sun loungers, hammock and barbecue. There were varied outdoor toys for children. The outdoor area was sheltered, but at the same time with a good overview from the kitchen so you can cook while the kids are playing. There was a bike so we could bike to the store nearby, incredibly convenient so you don't have to bring home😊 The house has better beds than in hotels👍 Cozy cafe was close by with good food, games, blankets and trampoline. If you have a birthday, you eat there for free😊 Cozy neighbors and neighborhoods😊 nearby are shopping center in Vejle with 2 hours of free parking. 30 minutes away by car we found Juelsminde with super sandy beach, cafes by the harbor with great food and a large playground! Communication with the landlord was incredibly pleasant from start to finish😊
A garden area is shown, featuring a stone pathway lined with greenery. Apple trees and shrubs surround the space, contributing to a tranquil atmosphere. The building, with a sloping red roof and multiple windows, is visible in the background, blending harmoniously with the natural surroundings.

Summer Retreat - by the sea!

KerstinRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a wonderful family holiday with our two small children. We could sleep peacefully, there was plenty of space for the kids to play, both indoors and outdoors. To prepare food, everything you needed was there. The house is super cozy, we immediately felt comfortable. It exudes a really great holiday atmosphere. The beach is within walking distance and the bay is really nice. Fresh rolls can be ordered around the corner. Mette is a super lovely host who gave us tips for excursions/activities. We will be happy to come back😀.
A spacious wooden terrace features various potted plants and a seating area. A scenic view of lush greenery and a body of water is visible in the background, providing a tranquil setting. A swing can be seen in the distance, enhancing the outdoor experience.

Peaceful, beautiful, artistic, natural, lovely cat; and the first time ever that I have stayed in a house with two pianos.

Great house for families with children with large outdoor area. Short way into Horsens, which otherwise is a very pleasant town, and a short way to a nice beach. Dan responds quickly to questions.
A spacious wooden deck extends from the modern building, offering views of surrounding green trees and a serene lake. Outdoor furniture is arranged neatly, inviting relaxation in this tranquil setting under a clear blue sky.

View villa with lake access

RashiRating, 5 stars10 months ago
It was perfect. The house looks just like in the pictures. Camilla is a great host, she welcomed us personally and was extremely helpful, she literally made us feel like home. A fully equipped kitchen was the biggest treat. Adding some Indian spices keeping us in mind was a very sweet touch, we really enjoyed cooking. The house is right next to the lake and Camilla was kind enough to offer us free kayaks. She was very quick is responding to all our queries about the surrounding areas. The lake is very clean so perfect to swim. It is walkable from a huge supermarket, restaurants and the center of the city. Best place to stay for a beautiful, peaceful holiday. I would highly recommend it for all age groups.
