Monthly Rentals in Pine County

Spent three days at this charming little cabin and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Tucked away in a quiet, rural setting, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was cozy, clean, and had all the essentials for a relaxing stay. Mornings on the deck with coffee and evenings by the fire pit were highlights. Most comfortable to sleep in rental we’ve ever stayed at! Highly recommend if you’re looking for peace, simplicity, and a touch of rustic charm.

This is the third time we've stayed at one of Doug's properties, and as usual, it does not disappoint. We love coming to a peaceful, comfortable, and well-stocked (but not cluttered!) space that welcomes you from the moment you walk in. We enjoyed fresh eggs in the morning, walks to the river, and the great hikes just a short drive away. We spent hours listening to music on the sound system and cooking good food in a surprisingly well-stocked kitchen. Doug is an extremely thoughtful host, and we appreciated his quick responsiveness and flexibility with our check-in and check-out times. Though this was not a deterrent to our stay, one thing I thought worth mentioning for other travelers with dogs: springtime is definitely tick season in the river valley!

The cabin was just what we were looking for. We loved how close it was to St. Croix State park and it had everything we needed!

Our stay at Lois’ cabin was 5 star! Everything was great! We have stayed at a lot of AirBnB’s and this was our finest experience. The cabin was well stocked with everything that you will need, even an outdoor fire pit with s’more fixings. The beds and bedding were great too! We plan to stay at Lois’ cabin again next year.
