The cottage was very nice, clean, well furnished, in a quiet neighborhood on a canal. The location is great if you are looking to do some fishing in surrounding areas.

This is one of my favorite AirBNB stays! The house is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The photos do not do it justice. It is evident that Lauren poured much effort into the details here, and procured beautiful pieces to make this place the magical spot that it is. We found everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh coffee. The attention to detail was remarkable, they even provided candles. This place was romantic, charming and welcoming. The historic home immediately drew you into the deep south and created an authentic feeling of the bayou. We loved rocking on the porch and listening to the peepers as the breeze blew the Spanish moss in the trees. Right down to the bedding, and quilts, this place was thoughtfully appointed. It is the opposite of a generic and sterile hotel. For travelers who appreciate energy, magic and creating an experience - this is the spot for you! We loved the wildlife, too!

The Airbnb is great! Exactly what was described. Quiet and peaceful and very nice. Andrew is a fantastic host and very responsive. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay in that area to consider staying at Andrews Airbnb. You will not be disappointed as it delivers everything one could want in spades.

This place far exceeded expectations. The location was beautiful, it was much nicer than I expected a houseboat to be, and our whole family felt right at home (including young kids). We could not have asked for a better experience. It was also very well stocked with everything needed and games and activities for the kids. We enjoyed fishing off the top deck and watching the wildlife. The hosts were so friendly and responsive. Our only regret was not reserving it for a longer stay, which we will be sure to do next time!
