Condo vacation rentals in Pico do Arieiro

Séjour très agréable. Le condo est grand , très propre et tout y est de qualité, tant dans la cuisine que literie et serviettes. Immeuble aussi très propre et rue dans un quartier résidentiel un peu à l'écart du centre-ville mais près quand même. Disponibilité d'un garage très utile car nous recommandons l'utilisation d'une auto car la fréquence des bus à Funchal est inégale. Enfin, Carlos et son frère sont très réactifs.

I have stayed in probably 30 Airbnbs throughout the world and I really think this may be the best one I've ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. Nice modern condo with all the kitchen appliances. Big TV and comfortable couch. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The pool is comfortable for laying out and tanning by. There is plenty of free street parking. Adriana let us check in very early as well which really saved us! The location is great. There are restaurants and grocery within walking distance. It is an awesome spot! I will absolutely stay here again it I return to Madeira. Thanks for the great holiday!

I was met by Ligia’s husband Jonny who was a from my home country so had immediate rapport with him and was made to feel at home. Berta and Ligia were amazing sources of information about everything I needed to know in a way that was friendly and nonintrusive! The apartment was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully arranged so had everything I need and so much more! I absolutely would recommend their apartment from single travellers like myself to families of four for convenience, location, value for money and highly receptive and knowledgeable, caring hosts! Thanks guys!

Nous avons passé 11 jours dans l'appartement, il est très bien équipé, confortable et agréable, et idéalement situé pour visiter l'île (voiture nécessaire, stationnement facile dans la rue). Cesarina est une hôtel très accueillante, réactive aux messages, et propose une documentation sur l'île dans plusieurs langues, appréciable. Je recommande cet appartement.

Der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung war einfach und unkompliziert. Durch die großartige Lage, konnte man alles in Funchal wie z.B. Restaurants, Cafés & Sehenswürdigkeiten entspannt zu Fuß erreichen. Parkplätze findet man problemlos in den Nebenstraßen. Wer Madeira erkunden möchte, hat mit diesem Airbnb eine gute Wahl getroffen!

Die Unterkunft war geräumig und die Küche was sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Highlight war die große Terrasse mit Bergsicht. Die Lage ist nahe an der Stadt, jedoch an einem ruhigen Eck. Beim Check-in und Check-out verlief alles reibungslos.

Julie is truly a super host and was always available to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Julie went out of her way to pick up my daughter after the BOLT driver dropped her off at a different location. Julie was always responsive to questions and very helpful. She did her very best to make sure any issues were promptly dealt with. Julie genuinely cares about her guests and makes every effort to ensure their comfort. Julie allowed us access to the rooftop patio that was not part of our accommodation to enjoy the sunsets which were spectacular. Although there was an issue that was outside of her control, Julie tried to resolve the issue to the best of her abilities. I would highly recommend Julie as your host during your stay in Madeira.

Sonia, Jose and their son were amazing, generous, responsive and kind hosts who welcomed us and checked in on us throughout our 3 week stay. The location on the island was great, enabling us to drive easily everywhere. The apartment was immaculately clean, very spacious with 2 balconies and an incredible view of the ocean and its crashing waves and a banana grove from the kitchen. There are actually 2 bedrooms (1 with a king bed and 1 with a single/twin bed), which made it even more spacious. The apartment is close to the road, but it didn’t bother us…the ocean, the closeness to the promenade and location more than made up for it. We would highly recommend this apartment and the hosts to anyone staying in Madeira.

El apartamento estaba muy limpio, Eugenia y Eduarte pensaron en todos los detalles además nos dejaron unos obsequios de bienvenida y estuvieron muy pendientes de nosotros, no tuvimos ningún problema. La estancia fue cómoda, la llegada también nos sentimos como en casa. Gracias y contaré con ustedes la próxima vez también.

Great place. View every bit as good as advertised. Fine for two, viable for 3, probably too tight for 4. Parking and unloading is a bit of effort - but the payoff in view and setting more than compensates. Loved hanging out on the patio with a glass of wine and no agenda besides soaking in the amazing scenery. Recommended. We’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this apartment as a family of four, and it offered plenty of space and comfort. Amenities like the washing machine, dishwasher, and fast internet made our stay especially convenient. The location is excellent—close to Funchal and attractions on Madeira’s eastern side—and although the apartment faces a busy road, noise was minimal at night. We would happily stay here again.

We loved absolutely everything about this place - very well thought space! The views were amazing!

I booked about 11 months in advance, this was so cheap in comparison to other places and it was worth every penny! Leandro’s mum came to greet us when we arrived, with milk bread and biscuits, which was lovely! We had everything we needed and a supermarket was a short walk away. The view from the bedrooms is beautiful! Such a stunning place! I initially asked to stay an extra night and Leandro was very accommodating, then our flight was changed so we no longer needed the extra night and that also wasn’t a problem either. I’ve recommended to all my friends and family.

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs and Pedro is the #1 host, hands down. He was friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with and held high integrity. There was some construction with one of the units (which was beyond Pedro’s control) and he was genuinely concerned if it affected us (it did not take away from our wonderful experience!) The bright decor, comfortable space and the sounds of the ocean make this place the go to stay in Madeira. Would happily go back our next visit to Madeira!

Estancia muy agradable, totalmente recomendable

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Nelson's apartment. Communication was excellent and pro-acitive, check in was easy and so was parking in the big car park across the street (we didn't bother with the basement car park). The place was much bigger than I'd imagined from the photos and spotlessly clean. Everything worked; we couldn't find the button to turn on the coffee maker but Nelson responded within minutes. My only negative about the apartment is that the bed is quite hard (and other have mentioned this too). There is a road next to the apartment block, but after about 9pm there is little or no traffic so all we heard was the sound of the waves on the beach below. Madalena do Mar is a small village, there are several bars and restaurants, but no shop. The area is surrounded by banana plantations. We used the apartment as a base to go hiking in the centre and west of the island, having spent a few days in Funchal before we arrived there.

Très bel appartement avec toutes les commodités dont un garage couvert. Une superbe vue sur la mer de toutes les pièces de l'appartement : petit déjeuner le matin avec vue sur la mer du bonheur ... Nous avons été bien accueillis et en début et en fin de séjour. L'immeuble se situe dans un quartier tranquille et, en même temps, il est très rapide d'accéder aux voies rapides : pour visiter toute l'île c'était top. Appartement à recommander.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Madere. L'appartement est très spacieux et très bien équipé. Il bénéficie d'une très belle vue depuis la terrasse où il est possible de voir le coucher du soleil.

Beautiful apartment, very clean and felt at home. About a 25 minute walk to Funchal center. Easy to get around. We rented a car and having a parking spot in the building was very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

Magnifique vue sur la mer. Logement propre et bien équipé. Cependant nous aurions apprécié quelques dosettes de café et quelques condiments (sel, poivre...)

Had an amazing stay! The place was spotless with the most beautiful view. The host was super responsive and made everything easy. Loved how close it was to a bakery and convenience store, made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely come back!

Stay in madeira thanks to this place was exceptional and very pleasant. Welcome bottle of wine and views from the window make an amazing first impression. Location is great, close to the beach and shops. departure from Funchal to visit the rest of the island was no problem because the apartment is a bit further than the center. The place is very well equipped, you can cook or prepare provisions without a problem. I highly recommend and thank the hosts once again :)

Beautiful apartment, clean, very spacious and wonderful views. The terrace is an amazing bonus, great for relaxing, sunbathing and eating. It has plenty of seating options and even a BBQ. The inside was also very comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious with lots of storage. We spent 2 weeks there and found it the perfect base from which to explore Madeira.
