This recently restored boathouse will give you a real switch off from the modern world feel, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

Our country house, former Correzian farmhouse, granite, from 1896; is located in the heart of the Milles Source plateau (Millevache in old French). Refurbished in 2019 for a family vacation. The hamlet of Neuvialle, both very quiet and dynamic due to its inhabitants, is the starting point for a multitude of hikes directly on foot from the house, through conifer forests, heather moors, and pastures or grazing the lamb of the plateau.
