Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Pevensey Bay

Lovely little character Victorian terraced house, a short walk from the centre of Tunbridge Wells. Jen's communication was excellent and we really appreciated her flexibility regarding cehck-in. The sitting room was extremely cosy with the log burner alight, and the separate dining room with a good solid table was a bonus. The kitchen is compact but well-equipped and had everything we needed to cook an Easter roast! Both bedrooms are a good size for a cottage with comfortable beds and high quality bed-linen. Andy's home was as described and was perfect for what we required. Andy was easy to communicate with and provided easy to understand instructions for check in and out and general info about the house and local area.

We had an absolutely wonderful week in this great property- the direct access to the beach is very special - and the house is a real home, furnished for comfortable living rather than rental. Lots of gorgeous walks near by - great golf course up the road, handy EV charging point 2 mins walk away, and Ashford designer shopping outlet 30 mins drive away.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Tim’s place to visit family locally and it’s a fab place to stay and we’ll definitely be back again

We had a fantastic stay at Leanne’s. The house is absolutely gorgeous and spotlessly clean. The beds were super comfy and cosy too. We had breakfast in the sun in her beautiful peaceful garden. There is a folder full of recommendations for the area and beyond. Location was great with a bus stop less than 5 mins walk away. Thank you so much!

This was the perfect house for a family weekend together. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. We were lucky enough to have fantastic weather and enjoyed the comfortable garden furniture. The garden was safe for my toddler grand daughter. When we wanted to go out it was an easy walk to the Hove cafes etc and to the beach. We had a really relaxing time and would love to come again.

Perfect house - we were a group of 8 old friends reuniting with a weekend away and it couldn’t have been a better place. Clean spacious house, super comfortable beds and great kitchen area with lovely garden for BBQs and ping pong table was great. Walking distance to the beach and Rye just a bit further. Will be back!!

Very charming flat in the city centre of Rye. Perfect location, close to all the little cafes, shops, pubs… We loved our stay and we will definetly come back again! Thanks for hosting us!

8 minute walk to train station and reasonable walk to beach. There are lots of hills in this town! We were happy to have good weather. There is lots to do in Brighton. We were there for a week, took train trips to Chichester and Lewes, which was convenient. The kitchen is well stocked and hosts were generous in sharing things in the cupboards and freezer. We cook almost all our own meals, so the kitchen is important for us. The gas fireplace kept us cozy on chilly evenings, and it was quiet, which we really appreciated. They left us extra towels and sheets for our stay and their washer/dryer worked well.

Beautiful apartment, wonderful sea views and an extremely comfortable bed with luxurious bedding. Thoroughly recommend!

I stayed in Alexandre‘s apartment with my ten year old son and we both fell in love with the place at first sight. The high ceilings, the old wooden floor, the furniture, the views - everything is beautiful. Alexandre’s taste is exceptionally good. The view into the backyard, which is full of trees, is totally soothing. While having breakfast, we spotted squirrels, birds and two foxes strolling around. Alexandre was very helpful and always replied within very short time. We also appreciated the area very much. There are some really good cafés - and the Asian restaurants on Preston Street are just amazing. My son said, he could „eat in this street for the rest of his life.“ I almost agreed. ;) Hope to come back one day! Thank you, Alexandre!

Great place, so close to the pier and Julie was a fantastic host.

this flat is in a fantastic location for access to the seafront and hove lawns. theres a major supermarket close by too. the place itself is spacious and well equipped with everything you need. we cooked quite a lot and the kitchen is very good. also a great place to stay with kids. the only negative is we found the plates and cutlery were almost all a little bit dirty when we arrived. But that's the only negative point, and we'd enjoy staying with Simon and Sansan again.

We needed a place to stay not to far from the main railway station. We wanted to be able to prepare some meals for ourselves. This apartment worked out very well for us.

Great place, right at the beach, place very clean and tidy with all you need. Lisa was very helpful and explained all we needed. Would recommend for a nice break out of the city.

Little Rock is a fabulous property in a stunning location. This part of East Sussex/Kent border is really interesting and the countryside is lovely. The main room kitchen/lounge are is huge and very comfortable with lovely views over the country side with the small railway spur line at the bottom of the valley, (we were lucky to see the Spa Railway steam train both days we stayed). Bedrooms were all well decorated and very clean and the ones with ensuite facilities were huge. The kitchen and utility room were both extremely well appointed and we did a lot of cooking but did not run short of pots and pans etc etc. We would not hesitate to recommend Little Rock and all 9 of us were very sad to leave.

This was our second stay. The home is spacious and has great amenities, spotlesslyclean too. The local beach is fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay for NYE at Ingram House! The bar area was a great space to relax in and the dining room and lounge area were also lovely. There was plenty of space and it was very comfortable! Highly recommend a stay here!

we had a great stay at this property, enjoyed walks on the beach with our dogs, great location with Rye and Hythe within 30 minutes drive, both with great history. karting at Lydd and we also ventured through the dunes at GreatStone onto a beautiful sandy beach. Camber sands is only 15 minutes away too. the property itself was wonderful with 3 ghod size bedrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms. perfect for our grown up family, with partners and dogs. it was booked with a chilled and relaxing weekend in mind, it met this perfectly
