Welcome to the “Little J Cottage” located just outside of Spruce Creek, Pa. Conveniently located between Altoona and State College minutes from I99. Nestled along the famous Little Juniata river this newly renovated house still holds its older country charm. The cottage has a semi private setting on a large country lot providing scenic views. You can hear the distant whistle of a passing train on the nearby tracks. Some of the finest fishing in Pa is mere steps away being just across the road.

Little piece of paradise

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You will have a view that shows no neighbors. Close to everything but it might as well be a thousand miles. It started as a place to let the horses catch a breath and a bite of grass and the riders a long gaze of the awesome view. Today our forth generation still enjoys the view from the front porch swing along with a guest list of exceptional size. Please come and enjoy our piece of paradise. If you love the countryside you will love it.

Our Cottage was originally the Barber shop here in Warriors Mark. It was eventually converted into an efficiency apartment. I completely renovated the Cottage over the summer of 2024. The space is very comfortable and inviting with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The space is perfect for a couple. The loveseat easily converts to a full size bed 51x72 inches. It is comfortable for one adult or 2 children. PLEASE let me know in advance if you will need the sofabed set up.
