Vacation rentals in Petarades

Villa Penelope was just what we needed. A very quiet space right on the water and very relaxing. We enjoyed morning swims, afternoon kayaking around the bay, and eating on the patio around the water. We generally spent the day outside. The outdoor shower was so nice after the morning swims. The weather for our stay was not too hot. The kitchen is small but had everything we needed. Another thing to note is that there were no neighbors on either side during our stay, enhancing the privacy and quiet. If you do have mobility challenges this is not the place for you. The stairs to the bedrooms are small and steep and the bathroom is very small. Penelope is a wonderful host. She had prepared a meal for us on our arrival, was very informative on the house and local area. She was very responsive to our follow up questions. A lovely person and a generous host.

It is a wonderful house, one of the best houses I have lived in, right on the beach, you have your own parking space inside the garden of the house with space for two cars, complete silence at night, stunning views in the early morning, the house is equipped with everything you need, there is a barbecue area, a children's play area, everything you need for a short or long visit, I highly recommend it, the host was very cooperative and responded to our messages quickly

We felt comfortable in Andy's beautiful house from the first moment. It is very lovingly and individually furnished. Anda baked us a delicious quiche to welcome us and brought eggs from her chickens. She was always quick to reach if we had a question and took great care of us. We had some cool weather at first, but in the house it was so cozy that we liked to spend the cool days inside. From the balcony you have a fantastic view of the mountains and the sea - really great! And in the evening we enjoyed the starry sky. You definitely need a car to shop and eat (tavernas in Oreoi at the harbor) or for the beach. There is a nice little pebble beach at the Taverna Agrogiali - Kouvelis Constantine (good food) behind Kastri (about 35 min) and a beautiful sandy beach behind Loutra Gialtron (also with good tavernas), in front of the Club Med (about 1 hour). Dear Anda, Thank you for everything!

We had a great time, large private space with large pool. You can do various activities such as basketball, tennis and many more in the playroom that adults and children enjoyed!! The house is spacious with air conditioning everywhere. Rena the host is very kind and welcomed us with pleasure!! Thanks for hosting!! We would gladly visit again!

We visited this place with my parents for a week. It was better than we expected. Very clean, spacious with a beautiful huge garden. What makes this place unique is that it offers you the calmness and space you need, but if you fancy a bit more noise, you can always go to the nearest town just 3 minutes drive or at Kamena Vourla just 12 minutes drive. Near the house there are 2 great tavernas, each of them unique for its own reasons, I will not recommend a specific one, because I think you should visit both and decide yourself. Regarding the beach it is just across the road, 50 metres from the house door and you are into the water. It is a huge beach with almost no people at all, maybe because the see has a lot of natural see weed on the bottom which didn't bother us at all, but maybe some people don't like it. Also the water is very quiet from early morning until midday, it gets a bit wavy during lunch and gets calm again after 6 pm. We had a great time, we will visit again.
