The Byre with Pool & Hot Tub

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A gorgeous place to stay, really enjoyed our visit and would definitely return in summer time! Should be made aware of the road to the cottage as it’s made for bigger cars on a dirt road. Our smaller cars scraped along, could damage underneath car and not great for your tyres but apart from that it was excellent. We were able to get a late check out which was appreciated as with late check-in and early check-out you only really get 1 full day if staying for the weekend. Lovely hosts and very spacious cottages😁would happily return!
The exterior of Ash Cottage is showcased, featuring a stone façade under a clear blue sky. A small bench is positioned on a stone patio, surrounded by blooming flowers. Lush greenery and fields are visible in the background, enhancing the cottage's tranquil setting.

Ash - Beautifully converted barn

GosiaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We stayed for the weekend and found the cottage to be homely, situated far from other buildings (there were no other visitors at the time in the other accommodation) in a beautiful surroundings with stunning views and well supplied. There was a coal-fuelled fireplace which we enjoyed very much in the evenings, and the heating was automatic (almost too hot in the mornings). Well equipped kitchen with utensils, pots and pans, a welcome gift of shortbread and tea. We do agree with previous comments regarding the cleanliness, but we understand the place is not being used regularly at this time of the year. The place is also a little more dated than the photos would suggest, although it is well-maintained and this did not take away from our comfort. Overall, a lovely stay and a great value for money - we would book again.

A really nice cottage, out of the way but close enough to all the tourist areas. Easy friendly booking. Probably the hottest day in the year so far, but we had to light the fire for the ambiance at night. Recommended

Beautiful 4 bedroom Barn Conversion, lovely views

BernadetteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our little break away. We all loved the surrounding, so beautiful and picturesque. Had a walk around the gardens to meet the chickens, geese, peacocks and saw the horses, cows and sheep on our walk. Deer was also visible across from the farm in the open part of the forest. The house itself has everything you need and is spacious and comfortable. After busy days of visiting tourist attractions (lots of castles) we enjoyed relaxing in the living room with the log burner fire on and we played games with the kids. Games are provided and we also brought our own favourites, which was great for the rainy evenings. Getting there was easy following sat nav and was well signed the closer you got there. Rebecca was friendly and quick to respond, an excellent host and everyone that we met on the farm was so friendly. Checking in and out was a breeze as well. Would absolutely recommend for long and short stays and we hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful family celebration at The Maltings in March. The property is beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need. It is light and spacious with very comfy beds and quality bed linen. Pitlessie is an ideal base to explore all corners of Fife and beyond. James was very helpful and replied to any queries I had in record time! We would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you so much for a memorable stay.

Cottage retreat in wooded secluded private grounds

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely stay at Cornelius's place. The location was great, cottage was comfy and warm (we loved the wood stove, kept the whole place warm). Our only regret was that we only had three nights there. There is so much to do you could easily spend much longer there. Thanks. Andy, Zara and Ayesha

Trossachs Barn & Cabin B&B - barn room

The charming cottage offered breathtaking views of mystic mountains and lush meadows, creating the perfect backdrop for a serene escape. Every little detail within the property seemed thoughtfully curated, drawing inspiration from nature and exuding a sense of rustic elegance, all while maintaining immaculate cleanliness. The bedroom, with its stunning panoramic view, was not only warm and inviting but also impeccably equipped with modern amenities, including a luxurious en-suite master bathroom that added a touch of indulgence to the stay. Tony’s hospitality was second to none; the breakfast he prepared was a true delight—fresh, flavourful, and crafted with care. It was the perfect start to each day. This experience was nothing short of exceptional, and I can’t wait to return to this idyllic retreat. It will be a place that lingers in my memory. Thank you, Tony!

The Old Barn - cottage with spectacular lake view

AshleeRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Laura and Ronnie’s cabin exceeded our expectations and was a super cozy. A wood burning fireplace with the most amazing view of the lake. The location could not have been more ideal. Centrally located between Loch Lomond, Stirling, Cairngorms, Elizabeth National Park, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Oban, Glencoe… everything so close and made this an absolute perfect place to visit all of these locations. Everything was beautiful and we felt truley at home. They have a dog, a Golden Retriever named Bertie that made the stay even more of a warm and lovely atmosphere.

Trossachs Barn & Cabin B&B - cabin room

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tony's Airbnb, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, Tony was a very cool, collected guy who made me feel right at home. He was incredibly engaging and approachable, always ready to share local tips and recommendations that truly enhanced my stay. One of the highlights was when he even offered to help me charge my car—such a thoughtful gesture that really went above and beyond! It’s not every day you find a host who is not only accommodating but also genuinely interested in making your experience the best it can be. The space itself was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, making for a perfect getaway. Overall, my stay at Tony's Airbnb was fantastic, and I look forward to returning in the future. If you're looking for a welcoming host and a great place to stay, Tony is your guy!
