We stayed for 3 days and we absolutely loved it. Perfect for couples that want a little getaway from the city, and love a good view and calm environment. The only noise you will hear here is the bird chirps and ducks quack. We thoroughly enjoyed how cozy the apartment is and spent a good deal of time outdoors by the grill and in the dome. Elena was an amazing host and they even had Indiana dunes park passes available which was great. Would recommend 100%.

This is our third year staying here while visiting our daughter in Portage. This condo is so well equipped and well kept. Teresa is the most responsive host we’ve ever had. She responds quickly and I never would worry about it if there was some issue cause I know I would be able to communicate with her easily! See you next year!

The River House is a real treat. We loved our stay there and Rhiannon was a very responsive and friendly host. We had everything we needed and being right on the Kankakee River was a bonus. The decor in the house is really cute and stylish. The beds were comfy and the shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. We felt right at home.

This small quaint home packs a HUGE punch when it comes to amenities and that home away from home feel. We couldn't have asked for more in an airbnb during our stay in the Chicago area. From the kuerig, to the decor, to the hot tub to the amazing bathroom and shower, this Airbnb had everything we needed and everything we didn't even know we wanted. I would HIGHLY recommend this airbnb along with the amazing and attentive hosts to anyone traveling through the area.

Great house for the value! Clean and lots of amenities! Wish we visited in summer as fenced backyard is great! Stairs to second floor are steep but in good condition with handrail! There are local trains that are present throughout the day/night, but their sound didn’t bother us 😊 Overall a great value and lovely vintage home! Host was very responsive and friendly! Thank you!

This was ur second stay at Andrew’s and it didn’t disappoint. He worked with us last minute to make a reservation so we had somewhere to stay. A friend of ours passed away and we didn’t have a lot of planning time. We love that the place has a pack n play, high chair, and some kids toys & dishes. Things like that make a stay with children much smoother. Thanks again for another great experience.

We stayed in Kayla’s house with our 2 small kids for 2 months, and we really felt like at home. She is an amazing host. She made sure that we were comfortable at all times, always offering her help and support. Before arriving, she recommended activities to do with the kids, and even bought some age appropriate toys. Upon arrivals eggs from her own chickens were waiting for us in the fridge. She called somebody to come over and clean our pathway from snow (without us asking) and even brought herself a sled for our oldest to enjoy the snow. We could not have asked for more, really 😊 The house is great, spacious, and cozy. We fell in love with the master bedroom and bathtub. And got to enjoy the garden and the patio during the sunny days. In summary, we could not have chosen better! Totally recommended

The house looked just like the beautiful photos & Jay was incredibly responsive throughout the visit. This home is located close to 290 to go downtown or further out to the 'burbs quickly. We needed a home to stay last minute, and Jay was accommodating to that as well - we were happy to find this spot with all the space we needed inside and out. As a bonus, we met neighbors who were very friendly.

My wife and I loved the place. The wooded surroundings in the backyard with the stream running through or breathtaking. We would see on average anywhere from 15 to 20 deer every day. The house was even better than what the picture show. I never had to worry about being able to reach the owner. She was always accommodating and even offered us the opportunity to stay longer knowing that we were doing a longer-term, but we had already made arrangements to go somewhere else and couldn’t get out of it or we would’ve taken it.

She was so friendly and thorough, letting me know all the details about the home, how to get in, and how to use everything inside. The amenities were above and beyond what I expected. The space was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, and the area near Lake Michigan was beautiful. The neighborhood was very quiet, safe, and enjoyable, which made the stay even better. I felt completely at home. The host also made it clear that if I needed anything, she was just a message away to assist. I enjoyed my stay tremendously and would absolutely recommend this space to anyone visiting. I would definitely come back a thousand times over!”

Chris is a phenomenal host. He lives a few minutes away from the RV and is very responsive. Two adults and 2 younger kids were very comfortable and had plenty of space to hangout in the RV. We did not take advantage of the activities at the site, but there was something nearly every hour over the weekend for guests (especially kids) to enjoy. If we are in the area, we would absolutely stay again!

What a delight! This was my second stay - bc it's perfect for me, a child of the 70s! Every eclectic unique detail made me smile - and things are labeled, easy to find - art supplies, extra toiletries, outdoor toys. My favorite things, on the cold snowy day I arrived, were the shoveled clear driveway/stairs, the lights on & the heaters making it COZY! It IS like coming home. Reina has made a perfect little getaway. Extremely easy w her communications, too. If I could, I'd give the Loft 6 stars!

Maria’s place was great! Easy access to the Airbnb & the yard was a bonus for our two dogs. Lots of little touches that made the stay pleasant; coffee, water, snacks were all appreciated. The bed was very comfortable too! I would definitely stay again when in the area.
