Great stay, comfortable apartment and equipped with everything. Daniele was an available and friendly host. We really relaxed. Definitely to be recommended. Ideal location for hiking.

Its well-equipped apartment located in a small town on the side of a mountain. About a 5-10 min walk up, you will arrive at entrance to the canyon. The hike into the canyon...about 1.5 hour each way is well marked and easily managed. The town has two bars that serve food and drinks. The apartment is quant which means small and charming that also is equipped with a terrace that overlooks a beautiful valley. If you do need heat, there is an electric space heater. The shower is high pressure and instant heat. The owner will instruct you how to turn on and off the water, gas stove, electricity and hot water. This requires you to have confidence that you can do it. Parking is free and available about 100 meters away. The town is charming, the people very helpful and the experience well worth navigating the roads to get there.

Our stay in Guardiagrele was magical. The rental truly was our home away from home. It's very cosy, comfortable, and spacious. Having two bathrooms and a washing machine was a plus. The town is beautiful and absolutely everything you need is within walking distance - great restaurants, bakeries, butchers, small goods, farmacias, etc. We highly recommend the cappuccino and pane di stelle cornettos at Cafe Mercato! The local market on Sunday is lovely and you can get a good porchetta sandwich there. It's worth a stop at the local tourist/visitor centre in town, the gentleman there is super friendly and knowledgeable. We would absolutely stay here again!
